I love how bright the photo is. It really brings the boy to the front of the picture. Also, I like your angle and the bold colours ^^ It works well.
I'm gonna say that it is probably a tad over exposed. Technichally, it's a very nice photo ^^ I'd say it's probably the subject matter that isn't capturing the audiences attention (which can be a hard thing to decide at times)
But keep up this technique with other photos and I can see your work going very well
