At first I thought "neat!" I've never seen a vampire portrayed in this unique way, then I was awed by the tremendous quality of the art. You did a fabulous job, the details are jaw-dropping!

I love how this looks to be a more traditional view of a vampire rather then the ridiculous sex-toy vampires of today. He has such a majestic presence yet at the same time has a kind of glowering expression. Amazing details, especially the colors and the overall old look =o

Marvelous character design. It's such a breath of fresh air (heh) compared to all the other "sexy" vampires dominating the media. Love the textured look to this as well.

I love the "real" feel of it. I had to check to make sure it was a digital piece because of the charcoal-like background. You did a great job on the details and folds! I stared at them for ages.

When I saw him I just said uWOW. Great picture. I can imagine it being one of those humongous portraits in gold-crusted frame hanging in a cold, bleak portrait hallway next to others like, in some dark castle.

This is pretty much how I would imagine Vlad the Impaler to look, but without the fang. That's the only criticism I have...that I would have left out the fang and left it to the imagination of the observer by only titling it "Vampire", but that's simply a preference not a real criticism. I am really impressed with how subtly you captured the menace in this painting. Congratulations on the DD.
