I don't mean to criticize your work but shouldn't heat vision disperse and not block heat vision? Heat can use light to bend and ripple but light passes through light and heat radiates out and deflects when interacting with other radiant energies. Just something to think about. Might make an even more interesting visual affect. And I bet you could do it.
