I wanted to play around with shadows and less-than-realistic effects and funky colors and honestly, I really like the result!! I want to improve my technical skill and ability to draw “academically”, but I also want to experiment more with letting my art be colorful and expressive in other ways aside from “realistic” lighting and poses. Which are dope, of course, and I wanna keep getting better at those too, but you know what I mean.
