Soooo I hadn't even been tempted to play a Pokemon game since the original Gold version came out way-back-when. I dunno, I guess I just felt done with the whole thing. Fast forward to last year, a friend of mine was going to have a Pokemon themed costume party. Essentially, you dress up as a trainer type, and you bring with you a team composed of that type of pokemon (ie: a Bug Catcher would have a team of Bug types). I just...had to attend this party.

Playing the original games, I always joked about how awful poison types were, and I was going to attend this party as a member of team rocket with my joke team of all crappy poison types. I bought the new HeartGold...and was blown away. My love for these odl game rekindled, and I discovered a newfound love for Poison types....hence this drawing.
