Painted by the master Jim Capone . He managed to create light with paints . Amazing .Not done yet . Soon more pics .

He told me that it is in part due to the camera . With all the dark surroundings the white stripes and light areas of the base reflected the light in the already very open objective of the lens.
I can believe it is true. I have the same trouble when I use white epoxy on the sculpts . The white tends to shine .
Something you dont see watching the object in person .

Ah!! So my eyes have deceived me! In this case I think the white shining works to the advantage of the piece!
Regardless, I believe that the paintwork has to pop substantially (Which obviously this does), for it to be even more outstanding photographed. I'm hoping he will have some input and tutorial for us on the forums!

I hope so too. Since Danno Cope is out of the game I think Jim Capone is the best painter out there .
