My housemate Tom and I decided to go to the protest-zone-place where Obama showed up yesterday in Iowa City, to have a Mad Tea Party, as we heard there was going to be a Tea Party there... but to our surprise, no one had brought any tea!This is the Photo the Associated Press took of us... along with an article about the protest, focusing on us.... However on that note- and not to get all political on you- The healthcare bill IS a commie plot!
Trust the AP to ignore the real protestors and focus on you. No wonder no one really knows or cares aboutthe whole country becoming Communist. Thye did the same thing in 2000 in tallahassee when thousand were protesting bush stealing the election! Instead of dealing with legitamte protestors who had come hundreds of miles in hiundreds of school buses- they focused on a pyscho ( I knew him) who dressed up as an Indian to proetst some obscure point.
I just feel there's a time and aplace to be artsy and crazy- but serious protest against the Goverment intrusion into our lives, and our bank accounts is NOT one of them. The MSM media needs no help spinning yet more lies and obfusticating the truth. Your whimsical protest played right into their hands of ridiculing serious protestors.
Of course that may have been your goal- in which case- well congratulations.
