ʜᴇʟʟᴏ!
ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ᴛᴏ ᴀɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀ ᴘᴏsᴛ.

The second tribe that walks on their legs and without the help of their wings. Knowing for their leaf-like colors, leafverns are quite unknown on the continent of Panhia (made-up name for an upcoming AU of mine). Barely Nightverns even know about them and they are still trying to discover what they truly are.

What they are, are giant leaf dragons--- or at least, adapted to their surroundings with nature. But they also are mixed with scales of a snake. These dragons are based both off of the green python and the emerald tree boa. Hence the long tail. They usually use it when they want to blend into their surroundings up in the trees. Their tail is twice as strong as a emerald tree boa's tail, but their strength also leads to other parts of their body.

I apologies for the long break of mine from the last post, sometimes breaks are needed to figure out how am I going to draw this or that. But I think art block came and ruined that chance. But now, I am slightly able to draw the Pantala dragons now. Leafverns are first, as you can see. Silkverns are second, Hiveverns are third and Beetleverns are fourth. Doing the dragons with two wings, especially when they're insect-like wings will be difficult, but I am willing to take up the challenge for it.
Anyway, it was fun to do the Leafvern after four sketches of this dragon. It was a struggle to what to change what part into being related to its animal part. However, in the end, I managed to alter a few parts.

Anyway, when using this base:
