So, I suffer from migraines, which are usually indicated by an aura, a crescent-shaped patch of flashing light in the person's that progressively gets bigger over the span of 30 minutes. It also usually has a zigzag pattern to it. And of course, it blocks out your vision, making it hard to do anything. However, I got to thinking: what if these auras were actually living things? What if they were these little cryptid things that somehow get inside your brain and cause you to have these symptoms? Thus, the Flashmen were born! No, they're not robots that flash to freeze things around them, nor are they a group of heroes in spandex. They're little mischief makers that relish seeing their victims suffer and complain about their antics.
