The way it works is simple:

1. Egg hatches into pre-assigned Larval-form Enigmite; at this stage the lil’ critter is nowhere near ready for the big leagues, because… well, it’s a baby! Ain’t no way a rational person’d make an infant their Star Quarterback, right?

2. Larval Enigmite changes into one of eight possible Newbie-form Enigmites; the result is dependent on the conditions of its upbringing, affecting its appearance and possibly the type of powers it can use, so raise yours well, y’hear?

3. Newbie Enigmite changes into one of three possible Mature-form Enigmites; this is the typical standard for virtually any kind of quest or challenge, with the bond shared between you and your Enigmite friend positively unbreakable.

Could there be another, much more potent form beyond Mature? Is this how rare varieties of Chromegg come to be, or might there be an unseen factor that determines such occurrence?
