This image depicts a bottom-up outer view of the Kindrazl, a field of interconnected universes that form the setting of my newest series, Kindrazl: The Highborn Chronicles.

The outer ring of eight visible universes in this image is collectively known as the “South Band,” with each containing celestial bodies and laws of reality like those of our universe (known in-lore as Potentris Del, “The Potential Third”); the relative coordinates of these universes are fixed, making them the “simplest” to navigate via the quantum field.

The designations of these eight universes are (in anticlockwise order from the upper-left):

- Vrontalis Nal (“Infinite Spark Domain”)
- Pyralis Nal (“Infinite Fire Domain”)
- Oryktalis Nal (“Infinite Rock Domain”)
- Petralis Nal (“Infinite Earth Domain”)
- Sporalis Nal (“Infinite Life Domain”)
- Neralis Nal (“Infinite Water Domain”)
- Kryosalis Nal (“Infinite Frost Domain”)
- Ouranalis Nal (“Infinite Wind Domain”)

The smaller inner ring of four visible universes in this image is also part of the South Band, though it intersects with and, thus, also counts as part of the “middle” area (more on that below, as well as in other images); unlike those of the outer ring, these universes follow a direct “shared orbital route,” which would appear “clockwise” to those viewing from below.

The designations of these four universes are (in clockwise order from the inner bottom):

- Marealis Nal (“Infinite Hydro Domain”)
- Talualis Nal (“Infinite Geo Domain”)
- Mystalis Nal (“Infinite Aether Domain”)
- Cielalis Nal (“Infinite Atmo Domain”)

The other three visible universes in this image form a metaphysical triad connected in a direct channel through the centre of the Kindrazl, and as such are the core “mechanism” along with the “orbiting” universe known as Potentris Del, which form the “Bound Knot”; the designations of these three universes are (in linear order from the far lower-left to the far upper-right):

- Auroralum Pol (“Magnetic Upper Waypoint”)
- Equalibri Nec (“Momentary Nexus Balance”)
- Vespralum Pol (“Magnetic Lower Waypoint”)

Between the inner rings of the South and North Bands lies four “nebulae,” though it’s unclear what, if any, form of stable reality exists within.
