Description
The Trioctave symbol for a Layer 2 arc whose name is impossible to orate in word form, with many referring to it by the name of the mineral it resembles: Opal. It is represented by the Greek β (“Beta”) and a translucent hue of vermilion, and deemed a “variable transition” to the Layer 3 arc of Orykt.

The symbol is an equilateral triangle pointing rightward with a line through its centre, and is often depicted with other Stage 2 symbols at the far-right “Beta” position, its parallels being both Lapis and Amethyst.
