And the moral of the story is; Don't mess with Pitt or Madman, they can both kill invincible. This is great but the dead Mark with the yo-yo around his neck literally made me laugh out loud. Great work as always.

damnit, I've got this issue and haven't had time to read it.... I can't wait! This looks crazy, Pitt's falling from the sky killing someone?! how nutty is that?!

Well Invincible CAN fly, so he must have flown Pitt up high to which Pitt torn him up.

yea man, i finally took the comic with me on the train to work so I could read it.... Kirkman wasn't kidding when he said he wrote a summer event in one issue! it was such a good book, but why did you guys decide to do it within one issue? I would definitely had bought a summer type event style book with this story.

I think it was mainly because normally event comics from Marvel and Dc last all summer and are a TON of different books all intertwined, and he didn't want anything that lame. So he thought he'd try it in one.

that is the only thing i hate about those event books, the tie ins are annoying..... Would love to see a 12 issue event, a year is enough time I think to explain and touch on everything.... what do you think?

That is so gross! There was a time such scenes weren't allowed in comics... Times change!
Very efficient! I hope this monster really deserved it!

Remember this is Image comics, we have no bosses.

Is that so? I didn't know that...
Be careful, it might just be deception, there always a boss lurking somewhere!
Wasn't there a censoring comitee at some point in the comics industry in the USA?

RyanOttley In reply to Angilram [2009-03-24 14:15:37 +0000 UTC]
Yes there was, but that was mainly for parents so they know that a particular comic is ok for their kid. And since kids don't read comics anymore people stopped caring about the code.

Ah, good point!
I guess it gives more freedom to authors... But that must be bad for the market $ wise.

Luckily at Image Robert and I have no bosses. We can do whatever we feel. Robert and I both are fans of seeing cartoon violence, so I take it as far as I want to go.

No idea. Robert is an Image partner so he kinda IS Image. heh. Whatever he wants to write will probably get printed.

And that is one of my favourite things about getting into Invincible. I love how hardcore brutal the fights can get. This panel was one of my favourites, but I also really enjoy The Immortal's head getting tossed through one of Dupli-Kate's bodies (I can't tell which one). That issue was so harsh.
