If you would be so kind, as I recently found out you have almost all the tutorials I really look at. I hate switching to photoshop to color, but I can not imagine the way you do skin. Would you be willing to give a bit more detail on your shading in the skin specific area, maybe a few color references as well? I'm learning to use other colors then "SKIN COLOR" to do skin and its difficult, but it seems you also are really great in SAI so I'd appreciate if you find it within your schedule.
If not, though, these tutorials are of the utmost help and are highly appreciated. You have helped me more than either of us know so far, apparently most of your tutorials are some of my favorites and I didn't even realize they were all yours. Again, I am extremely greatful.

we are so use to going from light to dark, because that is what we see in the final print! but here in your tutorials we see over and over again you gotta start in the dark

I think it's the result of many many eye drawings. Just draw them with fast strokes to a natural direction, it will be easier to draw them eventually.

Ooh sorry, I'm not an expert on digital drawing, just talked about drawing eyelashes in general. But wouldn't a simple thin paint brush do the trick with different opacities? the rest is up to your skills.
