Realy interesting and a different way of coloring.
It helps a bit.

Your art is amazing because you work so much on the details that it is very close to the real thing. It nearly has no difference between a photomontage.

I always asked my self how to add those texture effect. Thanks for the short discription. I hope I am aable to create this effect with my own software as well (by the way I am using Ulead photo Impact 11, bet you never heared of it).

Very useful I like to see that you start painting in monochrome, I usually don't do this way, and then.. I make many mistakes with light/shadows
