As a dancer, I so appreciate seeing the passion in the expression on her face... it really captures what I see in the Dance myself. No other dance has that feminine-earthy-emotional-confident sense as Raqs Sharqi that is so captured here!

I admire your skill at creating such beautiful women with just your knife and the limited pallete you use. Being a dancer myself, I am utterly amazed at how well you capture the emotion and love of the dance in each woman's face. This painting is an excellent example of that.
