I was doing render style tests that turned into lighting practice that turned into this
I haven't drawn this character of mine in a while, so I had quite a lot of fun with it!I still feel like lighting gets away from me sometimes, especially when I want to stick to a certain aesthetic for the face etc - adding lighting to a face that isnt the usual 'front light, diffused' kind always feels like I'm somehow ruining it! 🙈 But here's to not overthinking things and good ol' practice 😊
