Mushroompaw pushed forward. His heart pounded against his chest as he inched closer and closer to the brown hare. Suddenly the hare swerved, making Mushroompaw almost lose his balance as he turned towards it. He saw his mentor, Frozenmask, run after the hare to steer it towards Mushroompaw. He grinned and ran straight for the hare, it was huge, and the kits or elders would love it.
