Lyra has found herself in the middle of the woodlands, escaping from the world of Equestria and into our world.

There were many things that I could put into this picture but to make something clever and well thought out, I had to think outside the box on what pony could be on and off the road. What came to mind is somepony running away from something in fear, and that is where Lyra came into mind. I found the vector of her running and the movement of the mane is what really got me inticed. Lyra is afraid of any drivers by seeing that she came from the mysterious mirror placed randomly in the woods. Marble on the other hand, is just having a wander, but has nervously taken notice of Lyra experiencing some strange phonomenom. The shading from the sunlight is what really sets this picture apart since it looks peaceful at first but all of a sudden: there is a stark contrast of Lyra running for her life in fear of being interrogated about the magic mirror. So at first it would lull you into a false sensation that Marble is just nervously looking at the winding road, but is in fact more than what one might say.

Keeping with the theme of EQG, the portal was spawned mysteriously out of nowhere and as soon as Lyra had entered it from Equestria; it spawned there randomly as magical as its capabilities are (could work similar to Nether Portals maybe). Often one can speculate the transport system of these mirrors with telekenisis but what I've heard is that the portal may have existed longer than Lyra has been around for.

I kept with the shading to match the overall saturation of certain parts of the picture so that proportions are as even as possible. The portal is placed further back but shaded in black at around 40% opacity; Marble is shaded grey with around 30% opacity; and Lyra is shaded also in grey but with 10% opacity since her position is in the more lighter parts of the picture. Lyra has also been rotated slightly in order to look as if she is running down the road as it spirrals.
