I just got through a photography project in school where I had to imitate the style of certain photographers, and when I first saw this I immediately thought of one, Julia Margaret Cameron. The lack of color and soft focus gives it an old-time feel, and the variation of texture is wonderful as well... her skin, her hair, her clothing. A very beautiful shot!
