Description
For those who have trouble installing the skin, there is now a extra .wba file in the folder without the degree symbol so that shouldn't be a problem anymore

couldnt wait any longer. reaally wanted to show you what i've done. im already fixing the Maximized windows; so you wont like full screen explorer yet..
Dont press the Maximize button on firefox, because it disables Aero on that window.

how to use:
- double click the .wba file.
- open windowblinds 7 or 6
- press settings and go to per application
- add firefox.exe and explorer.exe
- now double click explorer.exe and select 'use specified skin' in the drop down box.
- press select skin and select Strata [40]
- in the left corner of that window choose Strata ??
- do the same for Firefox but slect Firefox in that dropdown box.
apply the strata40 style ( select the windows substyle in the '3 styles' tab)
Reboot and enjoy!

The wba file in the archive shows Strata4?wba.
I have tried to rename the file, but it still doesn't work.
Is there any solutions to this problem? I really want to use this.

you'll need the program 'Windowblinds' [link] which, sadly, costs money.
the reason you'll need windowblinds is because i have no experience in making 'visual styles' which can be applied for free.

okay so you've unzipped (important, right click .zip file and select unzip) the Strata_Beta_By_SuPReM333.zip, and when you open the folder you'll see a file named Strata4Β°.wba in there. double click it, and there should be a pop-up in the down right corner of your screen telling you that the skin is installed, follow the description in my comments and you could install it properly.
I've tried this out on an other computer and it workss for me... maybe you didnt have windowblinds running or something? maybe you've changed the file extension?

If I were a Firefox fan and a Windows 7 user, I'd definitely use this theme. Looks awesome.
(but, sadly, I'm a anti-tab user, Opera fan, and Windows XP user... although I would migrate to Windows 7 in the blink of an eye if I had drivers for my laptop available...)

This looks good, the concept is new and different.
My properties window does not look like yours however, the title bar text overlaps the tabs.
Also, since I use the taskbar on top, there is no defining line under it.
Also, if you could use the Strata 40 Firefox forward and back buttons in explorer, I think this would be perfect.

you haven't changed the skin to work as it should, take a look at the description.
since it is the beta version, i still have to make those (they can't be that big so they will be smaller \shell limitation/)
and i haven't thought of people having the taskbar on top or on the left/right so that will be done in the initial release.

I'm pretty sure everything is installed properly.
I flipped your taskbar graphic in SkinStudio to work on top, it looks good.
I see you have the buttons already there as well. Just some background tweaking to go, it looks like!
The property sheet problem is still there though. Since Explorer.exe has it's own skin, the property windows have the firefox and orange explorer tabs, and they seem to be in the way of the title bar.

explorer.exe should have the orange and the firefox tab.
everything else should have those without tabs.
the properties window in the preview is opened from explorer (and becomes a different progress) maybe the ones on your desktop are part of explorer so it adds the tabs, i'll take a look at it.
if i can't fix it i'll do something about the text.
does this happen only to those on your desktop (programs etc. on your desk) or also on regular files?

Hey,
The tabs only show in the right click properties windows. And Explorer itself (as they should).
Programs themselves are fine.
I have folder windows set to launch in a separate process, but since it is still an explorer process, the tabs still show up.
I could send you a screen shot if you want.

you're right, every properties window has tabs so the only thing i can do is move the text but i can't remove the 'tabs'

I look forward to a Visual Style rather than Windowblinds, you've done a fantastic job! No worries about having to exclude the extra buttons for the VS, either
