That sounds like a good plan. ^^
My tip is to take your time, plan everything out as much as possible and only start with the comic when you feel ready for it. And the most important tip: Don't get demotivated if no one comments or favs. You're mainly making this comic for yourself and if you keep putting all your effort into it, people will notice and read it eventually.

It made me such an impact to actually know about Meng's way of beeing, I knew very little about him, but this really made it crystal clear about his personality x]]
And I gotta say, I really like him, he's subtle but he leaves his mark, he's kind but he's not to be pushed too far 'cuz of his limits, and he has that asian politeness which just gives him more charm xD
Had no idea he was such a soccer fan, something I can't relate with, but still was a very nice piece of trivia about him that brought a somewhat key moment in this chapter.
Oh, and I friggin' laughed my ass off when Puzzle was swipping the floor with the cat

pffffft Pedro, why are you comments always so full of awesomeness? I feel like you always take your time with your comment and point out what you liked in every detail. That really means a lot ;u; These kind of comments always make the happy the most.
Meng's character was very vague to this point, so I wanted to make sure the stage is his, this time.
And oh my god, you described him perfectly! X'D First I thought the asian politeness was too clichee or stereotypical, but heck, its so cute and fun, I HAD to make him like that!
And yeah, I wanted to give him another big hobby next to drawing, something that is completely different. Soccer fitted well because 1) I know a lot about it so its easier to write about it 2) its a sport that makes fit and slim, which fits to Meng's bodytype and 3) its a sport that doesn't require your hands which is important for Meng cause he needs his hands for drawing.
Yeah man, it's so fun to write for Puzzle, all I need to think is "What would the silliest thing to do in that moment?" and then I draw Puzzleface doing that xD
