Description
I know a lot of people used this meme, so I figured that now would be the time for me to use this. By the way, I will be using a psychometrician's perspective on some of these.1. Rainbow Dash's Parents (MLP- Friendship is Magic)
I get that Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles went overboard with their support, but I understand their intentions. They did not want to make Rainbow Dash feel worthless regardless of what ever rank she got. In addition, what I don't like is how people think going overboard with support counts is child abuse. Child abuse involves physical neglect, and verbal abuse, and it usually results in the child feeling unloved. The parents didn't do any of that. Therefore, they did not commit child abuse. Instead, they just happened to get carried away with their support. Anyway, despite the fact that the support should have been toned down, their hearts were still in the right place. To be honest, when it comes to improvement and making sure I don't fail, I would choose Rainbow Dash's parents over typical "Chinese" parents who think that it's the end of the world if you even get an A-.
2. Mud Briar (MLP- Friendship is Magic)
I don't understand why there are people who dislike Mudbriar despite the fact that he behaves somewhat like Maud. Both of them are fascinated with inanimate objects and are socially awkward in their own ways. If anything, I blame Pinkie for being so ignorant of the similarities (or even being ignorant at all when it comes to ponies who have no close relationships with her). In addition, although hearing the word "technically" can be irritating at times, being corrected is a common characteristic of those who are very peculiar of grammar and coherence. In addition, it is possible that along with Maud, Mudbriar might have is own form of autism on some level.
3. Zephyr Breeze (MLP- Friendship is Magic)
He might have a tendency to be irritating due to his very laid back personality, but at least he explained why he's like that. In this case, I'll be applying Carl Jung's personality theory in this reason. Zephyr's laidback personality served as his persona, which is basically what other ponies think he is. However, his true self (a.k.a the mandala) is that he is afraid to fail the first time, hence why he didn't stay committed to one job. Luckily, Fluttershy helped him by being straight with him and giving encouragement, and by the end, he managed to pass mane therapy training. And yet, people still continued to bash him despite him managing to achieve something on his own. In addition, this might be because I'm using a Filipino perspective, but what's wrong with him still living in his parents' house and still having a job? Here in the Philippines, it's not really a big deal if you have a profession and still live with your parents. Normally you move out once you've found a job opportunity out of town or once you get married.
4. Flurry Heart (MLP - Friendship is Magic)
I put Flurry Heart here because I don't get why people think that everything was her fault and that Twilight should not have apologized for shouting in the episode "A Flurry of Emotions". It's clearly Twilight's fault for agreeing to babysit Flurry Heart since she already had a jam-packed schedule. Flurry Heart may have caused some trouble but it's not her fault, as Twilight said. In reality, babies need constant attention (whether they are rambunctious or not) so when you agree to babysit, make sure your day isn't busy. In addition, according to most personality theories that focus on child development (especially the psychoanalytic ones), attention, warmth, and comfort, are the main priorities of the baby, and the baby does not really care about how others are affected. This somewhat explains why Flurry Heart levitated the beds in the hospital. She was that desperate to find her toy and that toy gave her the comfort she needed. I get that it was necessary for Twilight to shout at Flurry Heart the first time, but I think that was for making her put down the beds, period. Other than that, Flurry Heart was being a typical foal of her age. And seriously, people are blaming a small being who can't tell right from wrong yet?! It's like that news clip where the news reporters made a big deal out of Prince George not high-fiving the Canadian Priminister, when in fact he was most likely tired from the long plane trip!
5. Stef (Regular Show)
Unlike the people who were disappointed that Mordecai didn't get back with Margaret (seriously?!) or CJ, I'm proud that he chose to move forward and marry Stef the bat. I guess that back when Mordecai dated Margaret and then CJ, he was not yet mature enough to be seriously committed to a relationship. However, sometime after the space adventure (and maybe after a few years) he became a successful artist and met Stef in an art exhibition. Most likely, they dated for a while and they eventually settled down together to have kids. Also, I'm surprised that I'm only saying this now, but Stef seems like a good girl for Mordecai to be with. She's neither perfect in appearance like Margaret nor hot-headed like CJ. Basically, Stef is a girl who is easy to get along with and Mordecai knows that. Looks like he really did need to mature a bit before getting into another relationship. In addition, being with Stef was a fresh start for Mordecai. It's like what my mom (no pun intended) always says, "You have to kiss a few frogs first until you find your prince" (or in a male's case "you have to kiss a few sleeping princesses first until you find your true love").
6. Kevin (Steven Universe)
I don't have much to say here because I can somewhat see why people don't like him. To be honest, I ended up liking Kevin because he is voiced by Andrew Kishino, who voices Janja in "The Lion Guard". If Kevin were voiced by a different voice actor, I would hate him like everyone else.
7. Dr. Kahl's Robot (Cuphead)
Initially, I didn't really think highly Dr. Kahl's Robot and like a lot of people, I found him to be quite a pain in the neck when trying to beat him. However, thanks to who made cute and funny comics starring him and his creator, I sparked an interest in him. In fact, he may be a hard boss to beat, but like the other bosses in the game, he's not a bad guy and is just trying to protect himself from being under the control of the Devil. If it's possible for a Cuphead TV series to be greenlit on Cartoon Network, I hope there can be episodes that focus on Dr. Kahl and K.R.. Such a shame he's underrated at the moment.
8. Kenge (The Lion Guard)
I'm not sure if he gets any hate since he only appeared once in the series so far, but I put him here because I somewhat felt sorry for him when Bunga kept on calling him a "little lizard" in an inconsiderate manner. Yeah I get he was allied with Scar and his followers, but there must be some reason on why he gets irritated when calling him a little lizard. Maybe he was a runt when he was a kid and he got bullied because of that. Actually, I think that he would have respected the circle of life and minded his own business in the first place, had Ushari not summoned him.
9. Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond (Steven Universe)
YD and BD agree on helping Steven and there are people still thinking they shouldn't be redeemed? Sheesh! Look, I get that YD and BD are dictators but they're not the worst type of cartoon villains. The worst kind of cartoon villain is the kind that uses his/her family members as pawns or punching bags. YD and BD don't really fall under that category because while they colonize other planets, they have some degree of compassion towards their own family. In fact, even though they attacked life on other planets, they were more focused on Earth because that was where Pink Diamond was believed to be shattered. Once it turned out that Steven IS Pink Diamond, YD and BD reluctantly gave in on helping the corrupted gems. At this point, they are quite similar to Don Lino from Sharktale, who was the leader of a Shark Gang but still cared for his sons.
10. Lola Bunny (The Looney Tunes Show 2011)
I know people did not like Lola's stereotypical "dumb-blonde" personality in the 2011 Looney Tunes series, but I still found her quite enjoyable to watch. In fact, regardless of her personality, I was glad she even appeared at all in this series since when I was little, I found it confusing on why Lola appeared in Bugs Bunny merchandise but not in the old Looney Tunes cartoons (Space Jam doesn't count). Had not the show ended so soon, we would see her relationship with Bugs develop further.

To be honest, I only put him there for filling up a space. But I think it's mainly the Lion Guard who hates him compared to us real-life fans. I get that he's a bad guy, but I felt bad for him when Bunga repeatedly called him a little lizard.
