Probably one of the most scary-awesome pictures of Deadpool. EVER. I'm kinda wondering how/when he had time to bind up his wounds before they healed, but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for this amazing piece. Well done.

Man, this is an AMAZING picture of Deadpool! There's so much detail, and it looks like you definitely had a passion for working on it! I can only imagine how long something like this must have taken, and it looks glorious! Seriously, this piece looks absolutely incredible!

but you don't know much about Deadpool, do you? You got 3 points wrong.
1. his main Power is his Healing Factor, which makes it impossible for him to get Tattoos, his body would break down the Ink in minutes
2. Wounds and Scars like this are also not possible, his Limbs grow back, his head was even blown to bits by the Punisher, couple of hours and a strange Dream later he was back on the Streets.
3. he has Cancer, a strange type which makes his Skin look like one giant scar, thus Deadpool always wears full-body Spandex to work
thus: you didn't know about Pool's Comic Origin OR this Wade BEFORE his time as Deadpool

On the contrary, I think this can still be plausable if you look at in it different manners.
1. While they do certainly look like tattoos, they may not be. They COULD, theoretically, be burnt rubber tracks from being run over by cars, bikes, or motorcycles, or permanent marker--because the Merc with a Mouth certainly wouldn't be adverse to playing in traffic or drawing all over himself if he got bored.
2. They may be in the PROCESS of growing back. Even the ones that seem to be stitched may conceivably be slashes from cerated-edged-blades that are just healing back up.
3. Yes, he generally does go Spandexless in public, it has happened on a few occasions (particularly in the team-up issues), but he might be alone now, job accomplished, and have torn off parts to prevent the healing factor from healing parts of the Spandex back in when the wounds seal back shut.

he healed from worse and his cancer makes his Skin peel from his flesh, any mark like this would literally fall off

the mentioned Cancer turned Deadpool into a 3D-map of the Grand Canyon, so it would impossible to tottoo him in the first place, the stiched wounds are possible, if someone gave him first Aid(Deadpool usually burns his wounds) which has a rather low chance, those who like enough to do this, know his Healing factor makes it redundant.

process of healing -> no first Aid, everyone who cares enough about Deadpool to do so, knows his Healing Power
Not Tattoo's/Road Marks -> skin sheds all the time -> falls off

O_o? I never said it WAS first aid. Nay, I've been agreeing with the healing factor....and I know his skin falls off. I didn't say otherwise.
I just think that the artist did an awesome job with this pic and that it deserves praise.

i think my fave detail is that right hand reaching back for the katana - the pads on the palm of the glove, and the pose of the hand. also the kanji symbol on the katana scabbord. sweet little details that make the piece.

These are awesome pictures, you bring a LOT of realism to these characters, and shift them from the more colorful comic book world to the gritty, ugly and bloody real world. Man.. I love this Deadpool. His mask reminds me of the psycho killers of the movies, and then it hits me: Deadpool IS a psycho killer! And now he is a scary one, not funny!
