I run for butterfly for a one and a half hours. For bystanders, although I hope that there were any, it probably was an interesting view. Person with the camera running around in weed at the level of the knee on a wasteland. But when I got home and started to browse pictures, I was a little disappointed because of some 100 images only three look good. Well, hard beginnings. For this is one reflection: do not use manual focus when you are taking taking pictures of butterflies on windy day. And as for the butterfly itself, it has a very interesting coloring, inconspicuous from the outside, a modest gray with a few rust spots, black veins, with a hint of blue at the trunk. But when it open the wing is simply stunning! Interestingly, this butterfly is a male. This species of butterfly has a clear sexual dimorphism, males have a clear blue-purple upper surface of the wings. In females wings are more brown with a touch of blue.

Za tym jednym motylem biegałam z półtorej godziny. Dla osób postronnych, choć nam nadzieję że ich nie było był to pewnie ciekawy widok. Człowiek z aparatem biegający w kółko na nieużytku po kolana w zielsku. Jednak gdy wróciłam do domu i zaczęłam przeglądać zdjęcia byłam trochę rozczarowana bo z jakiś 100 zdjęć tylko 3 do czegokolwiek się nadawały. No cóż, ciężkie początki. Jest z tego jednak jedna refleksja: nie używać manualnego focusa robiąc zdjęcia motylom gdy wieje. A co do samego motyla, ma on bardzo ciekawe ubarwienie, z zewnątrz niepozorny, skromny szary z kilkoma rdzawymi plamkami, czarnymi żyłkami z odrobiną błękitu przy tułowiu. Ale gdy otworzy skrzydła jest po prostu zachwycający! Co ciekawe ten motyl to samiec. Ten gatunek motyli cechuje wyraźny dymorfizm płciowy, samce mają czysto błękitno-fioletową górną powierzchnię skrzydeł. U samic skrzydła są bardziej brunatne z domieszką błękitu.
