I created this Cover in 2011 for a story about a gang of teenagers living in Chicago.  It is similar to "The Lost Boys," except they were werewolves rather than vampires.  The main antagonist, the Alpha and leader of the group, is the young man in the center, who lost his eye when he fought and killed the previous Alpha.  Because he made the others do horrible things a DSS case worker (the protagonist) was sent to investigate.  When she learned that he was the eldest at the residence and none (rather few) of the children were related by blood, she told them she would have to report it.  That night she was hunted and bitten, but she survived.  The next time the Alpha confronted her it was on the night of a full moon.  He made a comment that the blood lust was an addiction and that soon she would understand it and he would let her live if she submitted and acknowledged him as Alpha.  Little did he know that she was a recovering Heroin addict and that addiction was like second nature to her.  They both transformed and she killed him, became the Alpha, and relocated the boys to a rural town in the Northwest USA.  Unaware of the trouble coming for the pack.
