Seen in the Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals, at the American Museum of Natural History. In the same box canyon near Guaymos, in western Sonora of Mexico, in a sunset of October, there is another jaguar, a female possibly, accompanying the first one as both are seeking prey at dusk. Being the largest cats in the Americas (with their muscular, compact frames that are built for strength and stealth and their jaws strong enough to crush skulls of small mammals and even turtle shells), Jaguars usually roam alone, though sometimes siblings and mating pairs travel together.
