Description In the frozen side of Mount Cabela, an Arctic fox prowls on a ledge of snow either looking for some food or watching a show of survival in front of it, hoping to get a meal of scraps afterwards. Also known as either the white fox, the polar fox, or the snow fox, this small fox is native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere and common throughout the Arctic tundra biome, where this little canid is well adapted to living in cold environments, and is best known for its thick, warm fur that is also used as camouflage, as well as a large and very fluffy tail. Its menu includes lemmings, voles, ringed seal pups, fish, waterfowl, seabirds, carrion, berries, seaweed, and insects and other small invertebrates. In return, however, this fox has to watch its back in order to avoid predation by golden eagles, Arctic wolves, polar bears, wolverines, red foxes, and even grizzly bears.
