||Personality||
ESTP - Extraverted - Sensing - Thinking - Perceiving
{Impatient|Venturesome|Chatterbox|Ambitious|Genial|Optimistic}
-Impatient -not willing to wait for something or someone
Kainalyssia has almost no patience at all. She does not like to be kept waiting. Though it's pretty normal for students to be impatient, this moggy really takes the cake. Two minutes, you could be gone, and you would come back two find her groaning and whining about how long you took. And this comes to all kinds of waiting. Stalking takes too long, being an apprentice takes too long, growing up, learning. Everything is a boring long wait. Kainalyssia wants to experience so much in life, she has absolutely no time for waiting around. It's easy to see that people can come to be quite annoyed with her constant impatience.
-Venturesome - having or showing a disposition to undertake risky or dangerous activities
"Let's just not plan ahead and jump right into it! It's not that anything would happen."
Would be her famous last words. This female cat has no idea of what the word "caution" means, and even she did, she just would not care. Others have to constantly save her from seriously injuring herself. And don't even think about being careful when using her gem, that's not going to happen. A combination of recklessness and impatience can be deadly. Kainalyssia often find herself exhausted from straining her powers and it's not uncommon for her to faint from fatigue. Not to worry about her though, she's well used to it by now. Waking up not remembering how she blacked out is completely normal for the cat!
-Chatterbox - an excessively talkative person.
You can't shut her up. It's near impossible. Once you think you managed to keep her quiet, Kainalyssia will see one thing and ramble on whatever she can associated it with. If you yell at her to shut up, she will talk about how offended you just made her, so on and so on. You can't even escape her voice when you sleep, because Kainalyssia talks in her sleep. About the only time you can relish the feeling of any other sound besides her voice is when she concentrating on something. Most of the time it's just mindless blabbering, so it would probably be in your best interest to ignore her. Kainalyssia doesn't really care if you listen or not.
-Ambitious - having ambition; eagerly desirous of achieving a specific goal.
And how is one not supposed to be ambitious when you're the one being trained for Captain! The honour, the responsibilities, the respect. Everything the female could have ever dreamed of she'll be able to achieve. The fact that she was chosen gives her even more strength and confidence, the things she needs so that Kainalyssia can one day become Captain. Her ambition is definitely her passion.
-Genial - warmly and pleasantly cheerful
A very good trait Kainalyssia has picked up is friendliness. Bouncing around happily, trying to make new friends is just about her favourite pastime. The female especially likes shy cats, getting them out of their comfort zone bring her great joy. She feel as if she has done something magical. Though oddly enough, Kainalyssia shy away from creatures. Not that there is any hurry, she has plenty of time. Keeping up with the news about what happens to everyone is also a hobby of hers, so you can only imagine how much she loves festivals. The lights, the decoration, the atmosphere! And everyone coming together to celebrate.
-Optimistic - disposed to take a favourable view of events or conditions.
Glass half full or half empty? Does it matter? Just get another glass! It's much better than sitting around wonder how much is left. No wonder how gloomy a situation may seem, Kainalyssia will have something positive to say about it and she takes great pride in that fact. Being sad isn't an emotion she is used to. Depressed? What's that? Even if she was sad, you probably wouldn't be able to tell. With her upbeat and giddy body-language it would be an impossible task. Being the light during dark times would be a too much of a big job. Kainalyssia could not afford to let her own light to die out.
||History||
Before her birth:
The parents of the ball of hyperactiveness met a long time ago. The she-cat Naya and the tom Tyrell met by normal tribe means, but didn't really fall for eachother until pretty late in their lives. The reason for this remains unknown. Kainalyssia has asked Naya many times, but her mother keeps telling her that it is trivial. Because they went so late into mateship, having kittens was advised against. But do you think Naya and Tyrell would admit they were getting old? Never. But as a lot of late kitting goes, something went horribly wrong. Naya was up for hours, and the whole process was threatening her life. In the end she gave birth to four kits, two of them were stillborn and the third one died after a couple of hours. Kainalyssia was the only one who lived. And despite Naya and Tyrell's best efforts, they couldn't manage to be overprotective over their only daughter. After she snuck out of sight for the third time, they gave up. Recklessness was one of the reason Kainalyssia was alive, after all.
Kithood:
You know that annoying kid who always gets into trouble, and often ends up leading other kids into the same kind of trouble? Kainalyssia was that kid. As a kit she would get into all sorts of trouble: sneaking out of camp, disrespecting elders, going out at night and generally being a nuisance. Her parents weren't really proud of her antics. And because of this, whenever some kit did something bad, all eyes went straight to her. Even if Kainalyssia didn't do it, she would be the one to blame. She may not have done it, but there was always that suspicion that she either was the inspiration or, at least somehow involved. In the end it got so bad that she was confined to staying with her mother till she reached her seventh month. Kainalyssia was really scared the days before her stone ceremony. She was afraid that, because of her rambunctious nature, her stone would be defective. Luckily for her, the Gods had spared her this time. One would think that the kit would be grateful and then learn, but not this kitten!
Apprenticeship:
Every single kit would be excited to finally start learning and do something else than training, but Kainalyssia was ecstatic. It was like someone put her on speed and sat back to see what would happen. She was all over the place. Jumping up and down, rolling around and generally running to one part of the territory to the next. Hopefully, she will grow out of it.

Roleplay Example: - This is from a private roleplay between me and Steffielicious
The ginger-haired woman awoke with a jolt. Through slitted eyes she could see the last rays of the sun. Janet stretched and let out a quiet yawn. She didn't normally wake up this early, but she was already awake so there was no use in going back to sleep. The vampire still had to question what it was that woke her up though. Her question was not left unanswered long for the scarping of glass reached her ears. Even with the curtains covering the entirety if her window, Janet knew who it was. Who else would be scraping on her window at sunset? Humans sure didn't do that, and she didn't know any other animals that wanted to get into her house. Well, through her window at east. It was good luck for her that her bedroom window was in the direction of east, or else her skin would probably combust. Not pleasant.
"I'm coming, I'm, coming! Keep your fur on." she decided against tying her hair in a ponytail. It was the weekend, and she needed to let her hair loose. So Janet went with the literal apporach.The vampire pulled away the curtains, opened the window and let the werewolf in. "Honestly Konran, we need a better way of communication. You'd probably break the glass soon. I should by you a cellphone or something." if it wasn't for the fact that Konran had been in her room early plenty of times, Janet would probably change out of her short nightgown, or at least to any extent, care. Instead, she stood in her lacy undergarments staring at the wolf in confusion. "What are you doing here anyway? It's a weekend, we don't have work today." she sort of wished it was though, just that she could show everyone at the station that she had "her dog" under control.
