What I love most about this picture is the fact that the background is out of focus and matches the model's makeup. The pinks in the background really draw focus to the model as well as her face. I've seen quite a few out of focus backgrounds that are so filled with competing colors that it's hard to stay focused on the main part of the photo.

The pose of the model is fantastic! It's both natural and highly complementary to the angles of her face. I like how the hair is up, in a simple, yet sophisticated, yet messy way. It adds to the simplicity, femininity and purity. The hair also is great because it allows us to see her back, which is refreshing to see. It seems like I see a lot more pictures with big hair and flowing all down the back, and this is a nice change from that.

This picture comes together very, very well. Again, what really stands out to me is the simplicity, purity and femininity. Together those elements make a completely refreshing image, one that I know I (as well as many others) will be able to enjoy for a long, long time.
