Ok. It has been a while since I've seen your art and I must say that you've made a dramatic improvement since the last time I looked at your art Kit.

I think this was a few months ago since I've seen your art.
Holy crap, where have I been while you've been posting your stuff.

First off the overall proportions are very correct. The perspective with her arm really makes it feel like her arm is coming toward you. Her head doesn't look too small, it's well proportion body overall. I do not have much to say about that since you've done good work. The colors are also very good, although I do have some minor issues with it which I will explain.

Your lighting is good. It hits her face in all the right ways. The only thing I can say to improve upon it further would be to really exaggerate the lighting. To make her face and body really pop out at the viewer.
EX. cdn.dailypainters.com/painting… , larkrisepictures.com/wp-conten… (I tried to find a good painted picture for you as well as a actual photograph.)

If you are afraid of the picture being too dark what you can do is add bounce light on the skin. A faint blue light that helps reflect the object or person against the background. (As seen in the actual photograph I've included on this critque.

Now to get to what you need to improve on.
As I've said before I had some minor issues with the colors. I do like the green sweater she is wearing, that's not my issue. My issue is the blue shirt and the purple markings.
The blue shirt, though it might have looked like that from the reference, takes the eyes away from the focal point, her face.
To me, the shirt is too saturated. If you were to tone it down a little it wouldn't be very distracting. I also tried to find some good references but I could only come up with these two images. cache2.asset-cache.net/gc/4630… , cache3.asset-cache.net/gc/4644…

Don't be afraid to exaggerate her shirts color! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
It's a painting, and you're the artist. You can make your painting look like whatever you want it to look like. You don't need to follow the references colors exactly as is. That is why it's called a reference after all.

The markings on her face is too monotoned with purple. images2.fanpop.com/images/phot… , resources.enjin.com/294/header…

The best references I could find were those.
If you added more colors, instead of just a single purple, it would catch the eye more and be less distracting in a negative way.
Also, I assume you tried to make glowing markings because of the strands of hair that reflects the same purple.
What you could do to actually make it appear glowing is add a second layer with the same color of her markings and then use a blur tool and lightly touch up the edges of the color going over the markings and then use the opacity to make the layer more transparent so you can adjust the amount of light coming off her markings.
OR.
You can do the same thing with a second layer but instead of going the route of blur tool, you can simply use a soft/fuzzy brush and follow her markings and then adjust the opacity. That way you get that glowing effect and bounce light coming from the markings, or an area of strong light.

Because her background is dark, you really should add a strong light to her skin, clothes and hair, and some bounce light so she doesn't fade into the background. So she really pops out to the viewer.

Alright. That's all I have to say that's negative.
Overall, you did a very nice job and it caught my eye when I was browsing through your artwork. Keep it up! I'm really liking what I'm seeing. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
