Sabina, this is very pretty and peaceful. Some really great shading going on that helps bring out the shapes and details. As always amazing work!

Hah...very cool. You've commendably "rose" to the challenge. This piece is no dog and pony show...it's reflective of your impressive talent as an illustrator if anything

Lovely mood and detailing, and do I see a bit of white outlining? Great drawing, I can’t stop looking at the horse’s eyes, they are perfectly drawn and look so realistic. I do hope the roses don’t have thorns on them given your lack of protective clothing...or indeed any clothing..

Eh no worries it’s only been a few months and anyway good things are worth waiting for. Sorry you lost some shading in the scan.. could be an issue going forward if you’re going to include pencil half-tones, you’ll have to dial back the contrast and you might end up with grey paper..

One good thing about hatching is you can turn up the contrast and not lose all your shading if I do very delicate biro shit, increasing the contrast makes it disappear.. so I have to put up with not-white paper and not-black ink

I mean...yes, /your/ expression. I wasn't feeling bold enough to /directly/ compliment you, there's only a bunch of roses between you and your...background.*
*Don't be mad at me, I'm obviously just teasing!
