Love the green, murky atmosphere. Great job on the lighting and effects, too. I love how you've made the background characters fade a bit into the bg, so it really looks like they're farther off. Good luck on that contest!

As said by everyone above, the coloring and ligting on thie piece is done exceptionally well. Not only that, but it's a very unique approach to the color. Most people chose to use very saturated colors, but you went more dilluted and earthy and it works very well. Matter of fact, that was what caught my eye.
And the lighting is just pain sweet. Good job.

Hi btw I voted for your stuff coz I believe it is really unique. Let me explain:
This piece has a different tone to it. It truly stands out from the rest. Great Vision and surreal touch to it. There is a overtone and slightly greenish hue that makes the atmosphere jump out at you, it reminds us of the bleak dystopian AoA landscape.

While I love the toning styles that are constant with many of the entries, this piece really stood out because it emoted a totally different feel. This colour job has a kooky plastic feel to it, to it's detractors it might look flat, however I think that this colour job really brought out the lines and made them stronger. A very unique hybrid of old school comic styles (Jim Lee Xmen era) coupled with an animated flick feel. Great piece.
8) Lady Cybercat
There is a certain richness and depth to this piece. Brilliant sense of visual complexity and shading. It makes the image pop out to greet you. I also like the treatment done to the buildings and the careful attention paid to the sky / clouds. Wonderful work.
27) Spydaman
This reminds me of the colouring styles from the "dreamwave transformers comics" series. Very smooth texturing and alot of play on light and shadows. The toning is also perfect. Three thumbs up. Are you working in the comics industry?

I had more texture in the dust awhile ago but found I didn't really like it. And the problem with wildchild and sabertooth is that they are supposed to be the exact same colours. So it's tough to mess too much with them.

i liek it cept for one thing, it may just be me but i feel that some of the colours blend in a bit to much, as if theres not enough of a distinciton, for me its most noticable with sabes and colosusus and wolvie and the background, though your stuff is majoryly awsome. mops the floor with mine ill admit

With wolvie and the background you're supposed to get that effect. I wanted it to look like there was alot of dust and dirt in the air. But where specifically on sabertooth and colossus do you mean? I've still got time to make this perfect before the contest so I really want to know.
