Okay I asked my friend what kind(model) of car would fall in love with Mater and they laughed and said NO car in their right mind would fall inlove with him. It made me feel so sad for poor Mater to I drew up this piccy just now. Now im thinking about making a OC to pair up with Mater but the same question remains what type of car should she be??If you guys have any suggestions that would be great!Im thinking she would be like Sally but maybe a make of car the wasnt metioned or n the movie?What do you think??Mater(C)PIXAR

Eeeehhh. . . I'm not so keen on humanised Cars characters. But I have to say a blonde haired skinny pretty boy Mater doesn't make much sense. After all, he is meant to be like . . . 40 years plus in the movie, and he is voiced by Larry the Cable Guy. Have you SEEN that man? If anything Mater would be this balding man with body hair and body odur, and grime under the nails.
But still you bring up valid points how some would see Mater. But he's in a town who respects and thinks very highly of him. It's a good thing he's in a town like Radiator Springs for that reason. He has good friends there who wouldn't think this of him.

Poor Mater. I love your personification of him. He's really such a sweetie. I'd have him... and I've always been pictured as a Toyota Tundra (that's a truck) so there's my vote on the make of car.

omg he's so cute! i could see him with a car that's pretty but extremely wild, therefore very dented.. off her rocker but loves life, like a hippie but with way too much energy. lol, not explained very well. what an adorable picture!!! i want to hug him!!

OMG THAT STORY IS SOO SAD but happy and sweet at the end! What a Character you made! Striker. That really sounds like how Lightning must of got his "Nothing but Winning matters" cocky ways! he's not any of those things at all! he's so innocent and so sweet! under all that rust and rough exterior, he has a heart of gold!
and besides you can't judge a car by its paint...
as for a girl...he mentioned a girl named Doreen in that one scene where he tries to get Lightning to come tractor tipping... I imagine that she obviously meant something to him... maybe he was smitten with her...
I would guess that she really was pretty... perhaps maybe even a tad obnoxious... (I'm leaning more towards the whole opposites attract thing...)... wouldn't it be cute if Mater changes her just like he did to Lightning?
I'm sorry! I'm going off on a tangent here! but the point is that it really is good and I like your humanized version of Mater! (though I think he looks a little too young... I read that he was a 1955 Chevy wrecker tow truck...)

I think Mater would be good with a pick-up truck (maybe a Chevy) and she could own a farm, catch him cow(sorry, tractor)-tipping one day, run him off her land, then he falls for her like leaves in autumn. ^^ That'd be pretty awesome. Oooh! You could make her John Deere Green!
