Interesting diagram. It's simple and clear. I rather like this though i'm loosing the fight against myself to tell you to spruce it up a bit. You don't need colour and texture, but you need something more to make this an eye catching piece and to elevate it in theoretical level up to asthedically pleasing.

(one suggestion, you could use the moon texture on the sphere, making it a bit more realistic.)
