Description
yesterdayβs weightpulls me down,
today fills my lungs,
tomorrow is a glimmer
on the surface
far
above.
so some of my graphic designer friends have been telling me to do more non-work related projects in order to find my own style and fuel creativity. i don't think this is 'my style' but it's a step towards finding it. hope you likey. gimme feedback.
~mimzee wrote Drowning in today , as an attempt to better understand this image, and I think it's awesome. Thanks mimzee

wow. I am really really impressed with this new style of creation I am seeing in your gallery! You made me stare and read the poem quite a few times. every time I glare and read it, just makes more and more sense. Amazing work Sadia and please keep this new style alive. I'm loving it

Beautiful composition, interesting layout and powerful message.
the empty blue space between the skyline and the figure seems to create a boundary between the two elements. while the rainbow above seems so joyful, she is trapped in the dark on the bottom.
well done. thank you for using my stock photo.

i wanted the text to be between the girl's reach and the surface. i did try it higher and lower and it felt off-balance to me. i'll take a look again though. thank you

cool..! although there seems to be a bit too much green in the rainbow, its like an rgb rainbow, kinda. but cool nonetheless. what kinda graphic design stuff do you normally do?

I am reminded immediately of a Blue October song called "Into the Ocean". Not from your prose, but by the image.
Your prose is quite lovely as well...
