Escape into Roninfamy

Escape into Roninfamy is a design I don't do a lot of: Non-archetypal archetype support. Here, it's obviously support for Roninfamous, one of my favorite earlier design sets, but lacks the key name in question. Rather, much like Stake Your Soul! this is a potent starter that gives the deck a way to go over-the-top, and reach new ceilings via hands including it. That said, it deliberately does not raise the floor of the deck, given it's not able to be readily searched in your core line. Escape is a spin on SYS!, being a Deck Summon, but it's also cleverly a Night Beam, able to deal with a Set card without room for interaction, as needed. Activating it with no Roninfamous monsters means it's not SS4, but gets you an effective ~3 more names for your core line, though if you manage to hold it until one of your misanthropic monsters is on the board, your opponent can't do a thing about it.

Trivia: It's been a while! While this isn't a return to regular posting, I wanted to use this new design as a way to say "I'm Back...sometimes!". Now that I'm settled in with a new job, in a new city, I should have some more time to devote to this hobby of mine, though the de-marking and use without permission from a few groups I'm aware of definitely puts a damper on things.
