I just want to hug her. This captures such emotion and sadness. From a mother to a daughter, I would hug her and hold her and be there to listen without judgment. She reminds me of a young woman that I know. Such wonderful lighting to capture the mood. Her head down and slumped shoulders beg the viewer for empathy. What is making her so sad? Hurting? This is a strong work to bring the viewer into the sadness.
The tone and colors lead the eye to her. Even the trees outside lend to the mood because of their bare, stiff limbs that look like they would inflict pain if touched. Well done. If you are truly hurting, I am sorry. Hugs to you!!!
