that's my headcanon anyway.

i like to think in a better timeline, if Fragments ended without a fight and on good terms, steven would have visited jasper in the forest regularly, or whenever he needed to get away from the others or life in general for a while. and jasper would've grown fond and protective over him. y'know, since steven has a knack for collecting moms lol.
