Made with DeviantArt muroThis is a more accurate representation of Dragon Ichi and his color scheme. I wanted to make something that I could give people when I commission them so they'd know Ichi's colors better. And it was also a bit of a learning experience for me. I think this is the closest I've come to how I want Dragon Ichigo's colors to be.
Ichigo Kurosaki is from Bleach.
Dragon Ichigo is my own design, inspired by his Vasto Lordes form.
Dragon Ichigo
Blood purity: Halfbreed (Half dragon/Half Human)
Species: Wyvern
Attribute: Flight
Breath: Fire
Size: Massive (Approx. the size of a Tyrannosaur)
Talents: Fighting, Brute Strength, Dragoon Form.
Ichigo's tail is short and thick, good for clubbing, and it causes less drag during flight than a long whippy tail. His small hind legs fold well against his tail to help reduce wind resistance. His spikey mane can puff out like a rooster. Large wing-span twice the length of his body for proper flight physics. His large breast muscles give him excellent stamina and help him lift his massive body during flight.
Dragon Ichigo Likes: Eating roses, Picking fights, Rukia
Dragon Ichigo Dislikes: Blood, Gryphons, Byakuya
Extra bit: Dragon Ichigo sucks at flying because he hardly practices. He spends 80% of his time fighting on the ground and only flies when he has to. Because he is a halfbreed he doesn't live as long as pure-blooded dragons. He lives approximately the life time of a human.

The design for dragon Ichi has been ever evolving, and it's taken me a long time to get it to a point I was happy with.
Some of my very first sketches of him as a dragon were... pretty awful to say the least.

Dragons are so much fun to draw because there is so much room for imagination to go to work.

I have a LOT of dragon characters, but because I can't draw very well, I use games to give them a face. I used to draw dragons and birds decently well, but now I can only draw eyes.

I've tried. The more I drew, the worse I got. It's not supposed to work that way, but in my case it did. I guess because I got so into photography, I stopped being good at everything else. I excel in photography, but not enough to consider myself a professional. I can't write like I used to, I can't draw like I used to, and I suck even worse at pottery, which I really enjoyed in high school.

Maybe so. I'm always a bit harsh on myself, but I am trying to get out of doing that. Photography is what I strive for. If all else fails, at least I have that. As far as writing goes, I could make journals of my characters and their descriptions. It would be a good way to get rid of my writer's block.

Well, my suggestion is to pursue what you love. Do it if you enjoy it. You don't have to be the best, just do it for yourself and because you love doing it.
I would definitely write down character bios, description, etc. Mapping out a character might help you figure out ideas and such.

I'm going to get back into drawing. I just drew something for a contest and it gave me the push that I needed. Still having problems with writer's block, but I'm sure I can get some help with that. I know I can do better with drawing. The only thing I was missing was something to help me get back into it. I've never done a drawing contest in my life. That was my push to get back into drawing.

I had to draw a poorly drawn horse. That was it. BronzeHalo wanted to have a fun little contest to bring out our inner child. I had someone comment on mine saying that it's beautiful. They probably helped inspire me to draw more.

I'm probably going to be getting back into drawing pokemon, and continuing to get better with my photography. My friends have told me that my photography is already good enough to start selling, but I always strive to get better shots. I'll start painting after I get everything unpacked since I recently moved into a house with my boyfriend.

Thank you. Practice and patience is key to photography, and sometimes luck gets mixed in as well. If the lighting outside is good and conditions are right, I can shoot a picture that looks like a professional photographer took it. That happened to me last week when I went to the gardens. I haven't posted the picture yet, but when I do, I'll give you the link for it.
