"Today is going to be an amazing day!"

This drawing was an exercise in a different type of pose. I feel like I've done something similar before though. This type of downward angle has always been a bit difficult for me to capture properly though so even if I have done something similar before I'm sure the practice is good. The oddly difficult part about this drawing ended up being the shoes. I was able to quickly grasp the shape for one of them but the other took me several tries to get right. I think the angle and the foreshortening ended up making it more complicated than I was expecting.

The outfit for this ended up being the kind of thing you might see in the sound of music or something. I was watching an anime recently that had a parody of it so maybe that's what influenced me.
