I think this one deserves a making of. This one goes to my folder Tutorials.Like I mentioned in the description of the picture, I first started out with black and white picture. Before shading the characters I decided to start with the background first to decide the lighting. Then it went to texturing and shading. Later I added colors in separate layer which is given mode called Overlay (screenshot included, I think it's a pretty cool way of coloring). For final details there is one more layer with original lineart with the background color and another layer with Multiply mode which adds more dark area and atmosphere color of the picture.
I used Painttool SAI for this whole picture, but I believe same effects can be done in Photoshop. There are layer modes too.
