WARNING! Spoilers for Birth by Sleep

Terra was flying through the galaxy on his Keyblade Glider, thinking about all that's happened. About the good times he had with Ven and Aqua, about how the jouney had torn them apart because of that damn Mark of Mastery exam that he had failed, and about how this made him feel.

"Ven.. Aqua... if only I could speak to you about all that's happened... to apologize... to be able to reconcile with you both... with all that's happened, would it really be worth it?"

Yearning to clear the depressing thoughts out of his head, his eyes scanned his eyesight in front of him, in search for something, anything, that might catch his attention. But then he saw something that immediately banished all of his previous thoughts;

It was a new world, one that he had never seen before, floating a fair distance away from him. It was bright and colorful. It had a castle on the top, a forest at the left side, a village on the right side, and a mountain on the bottom.

Curious, Terra aimed his Keyblade Glider to the new world that he hadn't seen before, wondering on what to find there.

Light blasted through the area, startling any animals that had been close by. Slowly, the earth warrior stepped out of the portal he had created, and into the new world's grounds. His suit of armor disappeared, and he observed his surroundings;

He was in a forest of apple trees, and judging by the barn that he saw in the distance on top of a hill, Terra guessed that he had to be on a farm property of some sort. Looking up at the apples had brought out his inner hunger, and he realized something; When was the last time that he had eaten? His point seemed to have been reinforced by the sudden grumbling in his stomach.

Terra looked around. The last thing he wanted was to be accused of being a thief, and he was too hungry to search for something else. After making sure nobody was watching, Terra walked over to the nearest tree---

Wait a minute.

Something didn't seem right... Was he walking on all fours?

Confusedly, Terra looked down at what was once his left hand to see that it had been transformed into some sort of hoof, like that of a horse's, except... flat. Terra looked around and saw a nearby bucket of water, and ran over to it. Slowly, Terra looked in his reflection in the water... to see a brown little pony staring right back at him.

Terra was shocked at his new appearance, and looked at the rest of his body; he still had the spikiness in his hair, but it had grown longer to the length of a mane that went down to his back, and he had a tail now. He had light brown fur, and he still had his cobalt blue eyes, but what had truly caught his attention was a little marking on his flank, that looked like a mountain of some sort.

'Great...' Terra thought, frowning. 'I just hope that Ven never sees me like this, because I don't think he'll ever let me live this down...'

Terra shook his head, remembering that he was hungry. He looked up at the apples. How could he get them down when he didn't have any hands?

"Looks like I'm going to have to improvise." Terra told himself, as he made the desicion on what to do; He was going to have to shake the apples out the tree by headbuttting it. Taking a few steps back, Terra dug at the ground to prepare himself, then charged at the nearest apple tree (As he unfortunately couldn't climb it, as he was a horse)...

And ended up regretting it, as this turned out to be a painful experience for his head. While rubbing his forehead in pain with his front hoof (Or trying to), he heard the sound of laughter from not too faraway.

He turned to see that the voice was coming from another little pony kind of like him, a mare to be exact, who looked to be about the same size as him. She had a honey orange colored pelt, a blonde mane and tail that both of which had been tied into a pony tail at the end, white freckles on her face and cheeks, a brown western cowboy hat atop her head, and a similar marking on her flank that resembled a trio of apples.

She had her hoof over her head, laughing.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Terra asked the pony, feeling a little insulted to know that someone was laughing at his pain.

The pony wiped away her tears and looked at him with her emerald green eyes. "That ain't no way to buck an apple out of a tree, stranger." The mare said. Terra noted that she had a southern style accent.

"It's not?" Terra asked. The mare let out a few more laughs and shook her head.

"Here, let me show you how it's done." The mare offered, as she walked over to that same tree that Terra had struck seconds ago. Turning her back to the tree when she was close enough, the mare then kicked the tree with her hind legs. Then, apples started pouring down from the tree. This action had stunned Terra. He mentally face-palmed. Why hadn't he thought of that? He then opened his eyes again to speak to his bypasser.

"Uhhh, thank you for showing how it's done, but I guess I'll leave if you don't want me on your property." Terra stated, wanting to avoid trouble.

"Me? Not wanting you here?" The mare asked, sounding surprised, before laughing again. "No, I actually wanted to ask you somethin'; If you don't mind, could you lend me a hoof?"

"In what?"

"You see, it's applebuck season here in Ponyville, and every year the Apple family has to collect all the apples that they've harvested in the year, and I could use all the help I can get, as my older brother Big Macintosh had hurt himself again."

Terra thought about it. He was kind of busy at the moment, but he couldn't turn down being a gentlemen. No... gentlestallion? Whatever... He finally decided to say yes.

"Well, I suppose, as I really shouldn't leave you to do it all by yourself."

"Good, because you do not want to know what happened last time my big brother got himself hurt during applebuck season..." The pony muttered, before shaking her head and turning back to Terra. "What's your name, by the way? I'm Applejack." She introduced, holding out her hoof.

"I'm Terra." Terra replied, realizing that apparently he could shake hooves with Applejack.

"Okay, Terra, let's get to work." Applejack stated, before taking off. Terra smiled as he watched his new friend starting to do her work. It was always nice to make new friends.

Terra wasn't the only one who had come across this new world. At the same time that Terra had seen it, Ven had been thinking the same thoughts, had seen the same world, and become just as equally curious as Terra was. The only real difference was that Ven had landed elsewhere.

In Ven's point of view, the first thing he saw was nothing but clouds and endless sky. Puzzled, Ven looked down to see that the ground...

Was hundreds of feet below him.

Ven panicked and braced himself for the fall... only to notice something out of place. Ven reopened his eyes to see that he was somehow floating in the air. 'Weird...' He thought as he brought a hand to scratch himself in confusion... but then felt something odd. He looked at his hand to see that he, like Terra, had been transformed into a little pony.

He had light green fur, his hair had grown in the back down his neck to a mane, he had a tail that matched his mane, and the marking on his flank was a tornado. But what had really caught his attention was that he had grown a pair of feathered wings that matched his fur pelt. He was a little pegasus pony!

When Ven discovered his new wings, excitement bubbled within him, and then tested out his new wings with a single beat. It sent him a few feet higher up into the air. He joyfully began soaring through the sky, already picking up speed. He whooped in excitement as he zoomed through the clouds, feeling like this was the best day of his--

BANG!

Ven was so excited to know that he could fly without having to use his Keyblade glider, that he completely forgot to watch where he was going.

"Hey! Watch it, buddy!" A voice scolded.

"Sorry, I was so excited that I forgot to watch where I was going." Ven apologized, rubbing his forehead with his hoof to soothe the pain. He then opened his eyes to see that he was sitting on a cloud, and looked at who he had bumped into; She was also a pegasus, with sky blue fur, maroon eyes, a mane and tail the color of the rainbow, and a marking on her flank that had a lightning bolt shaped rainbow emerging from a single cloud. The pony had a puzzled look on her face.

"Excited? About what?" The pony asked. Ven wasn't sure how to tell her, because he knew that he wasn't supposed to say that he was from another world, and something told him that he shouldn't really say that he was originally human, either. So, he decided to lie.

"Uh, well you see, a while ago, I had injured my wings so badly, that I had to stay on the ground for almost three months. It was so aggravating!"

When Ven finished his excuse, the pegasus gasped in shock, jumping into the air.

"PEGASUS CRISIS!!!" She cried, before taking Ven by the hoof and sprinting furthur up the sky. "Don't worry, I'm gonna help you relearn all that there is to know about flying!" The pegasus reassured Ven as they flew.

"Really? Oh, thanks!" Ven thanked.

"Don't mention it. I'm Rainbow Dash, by the way."

"I'm Ventus, but you can just call me Ven."

Not just Ven and Terra had landed on the same world, but Aqua did as well. She too had been thinking the same thought and had seen the same world and landed at the same time that they did. She had landed right outside of a village of some sort.

She, like Terra and Ven, had taken the form of a little pony, though she had a unicorn horn on her forehead. She had light blue fur, her hair had grown to a mane, she had a matching tail, and the mark on her flank was a waterfall.

As she trotted through town, she noticed that the world seemed to be populated by little ponies just like her, most of them having those same markings on their flanks, except for the very young ones, which gave Aqua them impression that they apparently didn't appear at birth.

Aqua was enchanted by this new world, never before seeing such an interesting race like this one. Looking around, Aqua guessed that that must be the reason why she turned into one of them; No humans existed here, which made her wonder if perhaps the ponies here even knew about humans at all. After reaching those thoughts, she realized that she would have to make up an excuse for any features from this race for not knowing about.

Then she heard a voice from a distance.

"Okay, now let's practice on twenty five once more."

Aqua turned to the sound of the voice to see two beings. One was another unicorn, who had light purple fur, a dark violet mane and tail with a magenta steak, dark violet eyes, and a hot pink star marking on her flank. The second was a young dragon, about the size of a watering can, with light purple scales, emerald green eyes, a green spine, and a creamy yellow underbelly.

The baby dragon was giving instructions to the unicorn. The unicorn nodded, and, to Aqua's surprise, her horn started to grow. Then something happened that brought even more surprise to Aqua; A moustache had appeared on the the baby dragon's face. The dragon grinned.

"I love it when you do that.." The dragon muttered, smiling.

This action had intrigued Aqua. 'So unicorns can use magic... is that why I was transformed into one?' She thought, knowing that she used magic quite a bit more then Ven or Terra usually did.

Curious by this, she closed her eyes, and began concentrating on a fire spell. Seconds later, she felt a flame casting off of her horn. Continuing the concentration, the fire had grown and stretched until it began to circle around her, as though she was twirling a ribbon around her body.

After ward, she found herself casting more spells, as she had forgotten that she was not alone. About four spells later, Aqua felt a tap on her shoulder, breaking her out of her concentraition, and turned to see the same unicorn that she had watched moments before.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry for interrupting your performance, but I have never seen the kind of magic that you have just performed before." The unicorn brought up.

"You haven't?" Aqua asked, but then remembering that not everyone knew the kind of magic she had just performed (How embarrassing for Aqua!). The unicorn shook her head.

"You see, most unicorns know psiconic magic, such as teleportation, telekinesis, and self-invisibility. But what you have just performed was based upon the elements, and this has been brought upon my interest, so I want to ask you; What kind of magic was that?"

Aqua, thinking on how Eraqus had taught her magic, thought of telling the purpose.

"Well, I was taught by my master this to be a form a self-defense for when physical wasn't enough." Aqua explained. "But... I don't really know the magic that the average unicorn knows." It was true, as she wasn't born a unicorn, but a human being. And while she couldn't tell that she was from another world, she knew that at least she could say that she lived very faraway.

"Really? That's a shame." The unicorn said sadly. But then she got an idea as she turned back to Aqua. "How about this; I could teach you unicorn magic, and maybe you could teach me a couple of those spells you just performed?"

Aqua thought about it. Right now, Aqua was on a journey to wipe out the Unversed from the universe, and she had come to this world to protect it from those same monsters. And yet... the magic that unicorn mentioned seemed like it could come in handy for the future. And besides, Aqua had always wanted to teach magic to someone, and she could, now that she was a master.

After making her decision, Aqua smiled. "Sure, as long as they don't take too long." Before proceeding, Aqua realized something. "You know... we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is Aqua, and you are?"

"Twilight Sparkle, and this is Spike." She introduced the young dragon, who waved in a friendy manner.

Aqua smiled, loving it whenever she made a new friend.

"And that, Ven, is how you do a loop-de-loop." Rainbow Dash finished. By now, Ven had learned everything about flying, and now he was practically a professional already.

"Thanks for teaching me, Rainbow Dash, it's all coming back now." Ven thanked, smiling. "So, now that I remember it all, what do you want to do now?"

"You know, I was on my way to visit one of my best friends so I could get a bite to eat, you want to come?" Rainbow Dash offered.

"Sure. You know, now that you mention it, I'm getting pretty hungry too..."

But before the two pegasi could think about flying downward, something had caught their attention;

From below, they heard the sound of a poof, followed by a scream. Startled, the two looked down to see a blue unicorn was falling through the air. Ven noticed that the unicorn looked very familar, and looked very carefully at her blue mane and tail, and listened to her voice. When he recognized the damsel in distress, Ven's eyes widened in shock.

"DON'T WORRY I'LL SAVE YOU, AQUA!!!!!" Ven shouted, immediately flying downward before Rainbow Dash had a chance to say something. Unfortunately though, Aqua was already several feet below him by the time he realized who it was, and he was still learning how to pick up speed. And too make matters worse, Aqua wasn't that far from the ground.

Meanwhile, back on the grounds of Sweet Apple Acres, Terra had just finished helping Applejack in collecting the apples for the yearly harvest. Right now, they both had baskets of apples on either side.

"Thank you kindly Terra for lending me a hoof on my share of the harvest, I don't know what I'd do if you hadn't shown up and helped me out."

"No problem." Terra replied. "Like I said before, I didn't want to leave anyone by themselves when they are in need of help."

"That just proves how much of a gentlecolt you are."

But before Terra could say anything, he suddenly stopped, starting to hear the sound of a scream. "Do you hear something?" He asked.

"Yeah, it sounds like it's a-comin' from..." She and Terra slowly looked up to see a blue pony falling out of the sky, fast!

In a panic, Terra quickly jumped and slid down to where the pony would most like land, hoping to break her fall. Thankfully, she landed right on his back. After catching the mare, he looked at the one he saved, and was surprised to recognize her right away as his old friend (And secretly, his love),

"AQUA?!" Terra asked in disbelief.

"TERRA?!" She asked, equally surprised as he was. But before they could say or do anything, they heard another voice, and it wasn't Applejack's.

"GANGWAY!!!!"

The next thing Terra and Aqua knew, they found themselves piled on top of eachother, and with a third weight atop them, and in great pain. Not only that, but they were covered in bits of apples and applesauce. Applejack was laughing at the scene.

Rainbow Dash descended from the sky, a worried look on her face. "Ven! Are you oka...?" Her voice trailed off as she neared the ground. The worry on her face faded when her eyes landed on the pile. Her face began changing, as her cheeks blew up, her lower lip was tucked under her teeth, and tears were starting to apppear, as a few snickers could be let out.

Finally, she couldn't contain it any longer, and burst out laughing at the pile, rolling alongside Applejack.

Ven sat up, groaning in pain. As he scratched himself on the back with his left forehoof, he felt something slide down his nose. He tried to examine it with his eyes, but he couldn't quite see what it was as it was too close, so he used that same forehoof to pick it off of his face to see what it was. It was a little piece of an apple, still wet from apple juice. Licking his lips, he was about to gobble it up, when a voice interrupted him.

"Ven, don't eat with that hoof, that's disgusting." Aqua scolded.

Ven halted and looked down to see that he was sitting on top of two ponies, one a light brown earth pony, the other a blue unicorn, they both looked very familiar.

The two ponies blinked at Ven. He blinked back.

"AQUA?! TERRA?!" Ven exclaimed in disbelief, leaping off of their backs in surprise.

"VEN?!" Terra and Aqua asked in return, equally surprised.

The trio just stared at eachother in shock, not believing their eyes. It was silent, no one moved... until Ven's mouth twitched into a grin. He snickered a few times, before bursting out laughing.

"Hey, what's so funny?!" Terra and Aqua asked at the same time, both feeling a little insulted by the fact that Ven was laughing.

"Us! We're a mess!" Ven replied, still laughing his butt off.

In confusion, Terra and Aqua looked at eachother to discover that they were covered in bits of mashed up apples and apple juice, just like Ven. They all looked ridiculously silly... in a fun way. When they realized this, Terra and Aqua laughed too, and in seconds all five ponies were rolling on the ground, laughing their butts off.

The sound of galloping filled the air, as Twilight sparkle and Spike had chosen that moment to come in. Rainbow Dash was the first to notice them and stopped laughing.

"Twilight Sparkle! Spike! Have you guys met the new ponies yet?" She asked, grabbing the attention of everyone else.

"I've been acquainted with Aqua earlier today, and I came here because I was worried about her safety when she had teleported up to the sky." Twilight Sparkle replied. "Are you alright, Aqua?" She asked, turning towards the blue unicorn.

Aqua, after wiping away a few tears from her laughter, nodded. "When I fell, both of my friends tried to save me, but as Ven had some trouble landing, that is why we are now like this." Aqua gestured to her messy body, mane and tail, showing that she, Ven and Terra all needed a bath.

"Can I make a suggestion?" Spike asked. Everyone turned his attention to him. "I was thinking.. maybe they could go to that new bubblebath house that Rarity was talking about?"

Twilight Sparkle pondered for a moment before saying, "Sure, I don't see any harm in it."

"That sound's nice." Ven commented, licking a bit of apple off of his cheek. Aqua glared at Ven briefly for doing that before turning back to Twilight.

"We're not intruding, are we?" Aqua asked.

"Nah, you're good." Rainbow Dash replied, before lifting herself up into the air. "Besides, it's getting boring 'round here in Ponyville." Rainbow Dash was then suddenly jerked down by the tail by Applejack.

"It's always a dull moment with you, Dash." She remarked, smirking.

"And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Rainbow Dash demanded, getting nose to nose with Applejack, who still smirked.

As Applejack and Rainbow Dash bickered, Twilight spoke up. "Don't mind them, they can be like that sometimes." Twilight shook her head and continued. "Anyways, you three are certainly welcome here in Ponyville. Also, I was thinking; After we get you three cleaned up, I was thinking perhaps we could get a bite to eat. You three look famished."

As if to reinforce Twilight's point, there was a grumbling sound, coming from the stomachs of the three travelers, putting Applejack and Rainbow Dash's bickering to a screeching halt. Ven, Aqua and Terra blushed in embarrassment, before they simultaneously nodded.

After cleaning up, Ven Aqua and Terra met up with their new pony friends at a sweet shop known as the Sugar Cube Corner ('How many times to they make references to horse-related things? Even the world is named after a horse sider!' Terra thought when he saw the shop's name), so they stepped in.

It was dark, because the lights were turned off. None of the three could see anything.

"Who turned out the lights?" Terra asked aloud, feeling his way on the wall for a light switch. After about a minute of searching he found one, and switched the light on.

"SURPRISE!!!" Several voices cried simultaneously. Ven, Aqua and Terra jumped back in surprise, nearly bumping into Twilight, who was right behind them.

"Sorry if I forgot to mention this, but I have a friend who is well known for throwing the best parties in town, and somehow, she always, always, always knows when there's somepony new in town, and likes to throw welcome parties in celebration." She explained as she walked pass them.

"You know, I was wondering where that Pink Party Animal was today." Rainbow Dash commented. Then she began waving. "Yo, Pinkie! Over here!"

Almost immediately, a seventh pony came into view, startling the trio of travelers. She had a wildly curly hot pink mane and tail, cotten candy pink fur, light blue eyes, and the marking on her flank was a trio of party balloons.

"Hi! you must be new in town. I know you are because I've never met you before, and if I never met you before then that means you're new in town, 'cause I know everypony. And by everypony, I mean everypony. So anyways, my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie Pie. And oh my gosh, you cannot believe how excited I am to see some new ponies in town..."

While Pinkie Pie babbled on, Twilight pulled away the three travelers, saving them from constant babbling. "Sorry about that, but that's just Pinkie Pie for you. You'll get used to her." Twilight promised.

'That pony is like a ninja!' Ven thought to himself.

"So, would you three like to meet the rest of our friends?" Twilight asked. The trio nodded. "Alrighty then, I'll go see if I can find them. I'll be right back."

After Twilight left to go find her friends, Ven, Aqua and Terra decided that now was the best time to talk. They looked at eachother in uncomfortable silence, which was shattered by Ven moments later.

"Guys," He began, taking in a deep breath. "I'm sorry for running off like that. I was just really worried. Terra, I'm sorry for following you against order, but I was worried about you, with all the rmors I've been hearinga bout you." He turned to Aqua. "And Aqua, I'm so sorry for what I said back at that one world." Aqua could see the sadness in his eyes.

"I'm sorry too, Aqua." Terra continued, also saddened. "I was being-"

Aqua cut him off. "Guys, it's allright." They looked at her confusedly. "I know that niether one of you were really yourselves, nor was I."

"But, we said some horrible things to you!" Ven brought up. Aqua remained calm.

"Yes, and they hurt, but they didn't matter to me. Yes, I was sent after Terra and to send you home, Ven, but I learned something; In the end, we all are making these sacrifices for eachother's sake, and that just shows how much we really care for eachother." Aqua let out a small tear before continuing. "Sometimes, I act overprotective of my friends, but when I step back is when I see that you both are the only family I have, and I know that you see me the same way because of our actions in the journey."

Terra and Ven stared at Aqua, feeling renewed happiness. "You boys are my true family, and I pray that we don't ever be seperated like that ever again." Aqua finished.

Terra and Ven both nodded, and they pulled Aqua into a hug. "Let's never fight again." Ven declared as he hugged Aqua, tears of renewed joy cascading from all three of them.

"Um, did I miss something?" A voice asked. Ven, Aqua and Terra broke apart to see that Twilight was back, with two new ponies on either side of her.

One was another pegasus. She had creamy yellow fur, a long light pink mane and tail, sea blue eyes, and a marking on her flank of three purple butterflies. She looked kind of shy, but very sweet.

The second was another unicorn. She had snow white fur, a violet mane and tail, sapphire blue eyes, long eyelashes, and a marking of three blue diamonds.

The trio of ponies were confused by how Ven, Aqua and Terra were hugging for some reason that they didn't know about. Ven, Aqua and Terra looked at eachother, then back at Twilight.

"It's nothing, Twilight." Ven reassured her. "So, who's your friends?"

"Oh, right." Twilight said, correcting herself. She first geustured to the pegasus. "Ventus, Aqua, Terra, this is Fluttershy. Fluttershy, this is Ventus, Aqua, and Terra."

"Hi..." Fluttershy said in a shy voice.

"And this is Rarity." Twilight gestured to the white unicorn beside her.

After introductions, Ven, Aqua and Terra began attending to some of the different party activities. It was a new experience for Ven, as he had lost memory of his entire life several months ago, so everything from the morning dawn to the common cold had become brand new to him again, and he had never been to any parties like this one.

When he related this to his new friend Pinkie Pie, she gasped and quickly promised that she was going to teach him everything there is to know about partying (Though it took Ven a little while to digest what she said, as she speaks in a fast pace).

Terra and Aqua meanwhile were speaking to their new friends Rarity and Fluttershy.

"So, do tell me, where are you two dears from?" Rarity asked, sounding interested. Terra and Aqua mentally panicked, not sure what to say, before Aqua decided to improvise.

"We're uhhh... from very faraway, you've probably never heard of it." Aqua made up, sweating uneasily.

"Yeah, much furthur then you've been, I'm sure." Terra added, also sweating.

Rarity squinted her eyes and looked them in the eye. "Try me." She challanged.

Before the two could think of any other excuses, Ven brought up something. "Uh, Pinkie... what's that green thing in the punch?" Ven asked in an uneasy tone, pointing to something in the punchbowl.

Pinkie Pie followed his eyesight, and then giggled. "Oh, that? That's just Gummy, my pet baby alligator." She replied.

"You're pet WHAT?!" Ven asked in disbelief. The infant reptile leaped out of the punchbowl and lunged at Ven, jaw opening. Ven's eyes dilated in fear as he began to panic.

"AHHHHHGETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFFFF!!!" He cried in a panicking tone, his wings rabidly flapping, knocking several things over, sometimes ponies as well.

"Ven, calm down!" Applejack cried, galloping over toward the panicking pegasus. Ven listened to his friend and calmed down. Well, physically, but mentally he was still in a panic. Gently, Applejack pried the baby Alligator off of Ven, and then opened the reptile's mouth to reveal that it had no teeth.

When Ven saw this, he shied away in embarrassment, realizing that he just made a fool of himself in public by getting into a panic over nothing. Terra and Aqua joined either side of him to give him some comfort.

Before anypony could say anything else, a new voice spoke. "Hey everypony listen up!" All the ponies in the room turned to see a lavender pony with a green mane and tail, emerald eyes, and a paint brush and pallet mark on her flank (Which, according to Twilight, was called a "Cutie Mark"); was standing at the door. "There has been a sudden announcement that Princess Celestia is coming to town!"

The entire room cheered in excitement, except for a certain trio, who kept quiet. They huddled together.

"Who do you think she is?" Terra asked Aqua in a whispering tone, hoping that no one would notice the one thing they don't know, because otherwise it could possibly lead to having to spill the beans.

"She sounds like the ruler of this world, so she must be pretty important." Aqua guessed in that same tone.

"I love whispering stuff, what are we whispering about?"

Ven, Aqua and Terra turned to see Pinkie Pie looking at them with her trademark grin, as she had somehow joined the huddle without them noticing. ('NINJA!')

"How long have you been listening?" Terra asked.

"I over heard that you guys...." It took Pinkie Pie a couple of seconds to register what she overheard.

Meanwhile, in a chariot in the outskirts of Ponyville, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were speaking to eachother about past events.

"So what you are saying, is that a little pony in a mask was what had brought you to your state of Nightmare Moon?" Princess Celestia asked her younger sister, who nodded.

"Yes, he said that he enjoyed the night greatly, and that it was a shame that no other pony enjoyed the night as much as he did, so he gave me that ball of darkness, telling me that I had the power to make night time last forever." Luna explained.

"So that is what had given you idea of Eternal Night?" Celestia asked. Another nod from the moon princess. "But what had happened to him after that?"

"He just disappeared into thin air, and I never saw him again."

Celestia went into a deep ponder, worrying her sister. "Big sister?" She asked. Celestia then had a determined look on her face.

"Luna, we must warn-"

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHO PRINCESS CELESTIA IS?!?!?!?!"

Due to the loud voice, both Celestia and Luna nearly fell out of their chariot, if it weren't for fast reflexes. After getting back up, Celestia and Luna both had an interested smile on their face as they both raised an eyebrow.

"It appears that we have found the location of Master Eraqus' three students." Celestia stated. Luna nodded in agreement.

Back with the ponies in Ponyville, everypony in the room stared at Ven, Aqua and Terra in disbelief. For Pinkie Pie's statement was so loud, that not only the entire room had heard it, but so did any outside bypassers. The trio was sweating like crazy, completely out of their easy zone.

Twilight Sparkle stepped foreword. "How is this possible? Even if you lived in the farthest corners of Equestria, surely you must know of our Princess." She brought up, raising an eyebrow. The trio of off-worlders were sweating at their maximum, completely in a panic. They couldn't think of any excuses, but they couldn't tell the truth either.

But then, a new light of hope had dawned upon them.

"What is all of the fuss about?"

Everypony turned around to see a beautiful tall mare standing at the doorway. She, like Rainbow Dash, had a mane and tail in various colors, but her's was in more of pastel. She was very tall, she had pure white fur, amethyst eyes, a long unicorn horn, two angelic wings on her back, golden markings on her hooves, and her cutie mark was a shining sun. She also had a tiara and necklace.

Beside her was a smaller mare, but still taller then the average pony. She had a long, flowing blue mane and tail, dark blue-violet fur, blue eyes, a longer then average horn, little feathered wings, midnight blue markings on her hooves, a white crescent moon for a cutie mark, and a little black tiara on her head.

They were Princesses Celestia and Luna, the rulers of Equestria. Everypony bowed down before the two, including Ven, Aqua and Terra. When Celestia laid eyes on the trio, she calmly walked over to the trio.

"Princess Luna and I wish to speak with the three newcomers in private." She requested, referring to the trio. Everypony looked back at the uneasy trio, who slowly walked over to Princess Celestia and Luna, feeling more and more uneasy by the countless stares from the many ponies in the room. As the trio walked outside, Celestia spoke up to the rest of the ponies.

"I want you all to know; While I am ruler of all of Equestria, it is still possible for somepony to not know of me. So please, donnot make such a big deal out of something as small as this." She then followed the newcomers and her younger sister outside, leaving everypony in the room bewildered.

After Celestia and Luna had lead the trio outside to a forest so they could go for a wolk while speaking, Celestia began to speak to the trio. "So, you three are apprentices of Master Eraqus?" Her question had shocked the trio.

"You knew our master?!" Terra asked in disbelief. Celestia and Luna both nodded.

"I need to explain something to you;

You see, Luna and I are not only the rulers of Equestria, but we are also responsible for raising the sun and the moon of our world. I raise and lower the sun to begin the day, and Luna raises and lowers the moon to begin the night."

Ven, Aqua and Terra knew that every world had it's own sun and moon that constantly revolved around it, but they didn't know that some revolved differently then others. They nodded, urging her to continue.

"We maintain balance for our kingdom, creating harmony for all of Equestria." Luna continued. "But however, a thousand and one years ago, for we have much longer life spans, I had become resentful, jealous of my older sister, because of how the little ponies had played though the day, and slept through the night. At first, I just shrugged it off as jealousy, but then I met some true encouragement from a strange pony in a mask..."

"WHAT?!?" The three yelled, realizing who it was and where this was going.

"Because of the bitterness in my heart, I had become a wicked mare of Darkness; Nightmare Moon."

Ven didn't like the sound of the name, nor did Terra or Aqua.

"When she had become like that, I knew only one way to stop her, but I could not do it alone. I needed some assistance from somepony with a strong heart, and that is why your master had gone back in time; To prevent this world from being covered in Darkness."

"But if that's the case, then how did Princess Luna come back to her senses?" Ven asked.

"After Eraqus and I defeated her, I was resorted to banishing her to the moon for a thousand and one years. But I knew she could not stay in there forever. On the thousand and first year, the stars would aden her escape, and there had to be another force to defeat her until I could help her return to her senses; The spirits of the elements of Harmony.

After Luna became herself again, I recieved a letter from your Master soon after you began your journey, so we have come this way to warn you..."

Back with the ponies of Ponyville, things had seemed to have quieted down with Twilight Sparkle. She was in her bedroom, pacing back and fourth like a caged zoo tiger, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her new friends and how they didn't even know the princess. Even though Celestia herself said that it was possible for somepony to not know her, it still didn't add up; Why did she not tell her that until today?

She needed answers, but where?

Twilight mentally face-hoofed. "Duh! I have a library!"

But the moment she stepped into the library of her house, she knew that she wasn't alone; Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and even Spike were all looking through different books.

"It appears that you guys have been thinking what I have been thinking?" Twilight asked her friends, who nodded as they continued searching. Twilight then began searching, but stopped herself; How can she find answers, when she still didn't even know what kind of questions to ask?

That was when Applejack suddenly brought up; "Hey everypony, look at this!" immediately, all room inhabitants were reading over her shoulder at the book she found; It was titled, Legends of the stars.

But what had really caught their attention was the content she found within that Twilight read aloud; " 'It is said that for every star in the sky, there is another world'... Another world?" Twilight asked no pony in particular. "What does that mean?"

"Hey guys, take a look at this!" Spike piped up, drawing the attention of all six ponies. In his clawy hands was a book, titled, List of Other Worlds. However, it was a humongous book, and Spike couldn't hold it for very long, so Twilight had to telepathically lift it onto a table. Slowly, Twilight opened the book, and the first page became a real shocker to all ponies;

There was a very long index at the front, and the index listed the names of various lands that they had never head of, such as Destiny Islands, or Agrabah, or Radiant Garden, or even The Land of Dragons (Which had caught Spike's attention).

Everypony stared in awe and wonder at the long list.

"This is... incredible!" Twilight commented in amazement and awe. "To think, that Equestria is just a small piece of something much, much greater."

The ponies (And Spike) constantly scanned the long list of world names, until one particular name had caught their attention; Kingdom Hearts. It was at the very end of the list. Curiously, Twilight used her unicorn powers to turn to the first page that held information on this, 'Kingdom Hearts'. Once she found the information, Twilight began reading aloud.

" 'Kingdom Hearts is said to be the heart of all worlds. For every living thing, there is a heart, and worlds have hearts too. It is very important that Kingdom Hearts is protected, for if Kingdom hearts was destroyed or to fall into the wrong hooves, then the entire universe would be swallowed in...' " Twilight hesitated a little, before finishing. " '...swallowed in darkness.' "

Everypony gasped in shock, and Rarity did a little fainting act. Applejack then urged Twilight to continue. " 'Which is why Kingdom Hearts must always be guarded by The Warriors of the Keyblade. For more information, look for a book about the Keyblade.' "

When Twilight was done, the ponies and Spike felt more questions raising. immediately, Twilight began looking through the 'K' section of her library, until she finally found what she was looking for; The Legendary Keyblade; A Reference Guide.

Opening up the book, she saw a page that had informative text on one page. On the other was a picture of a little black pegasus with a messy mane and tail, and in it's mouth was... what looked like a key, but yet at the same time a sword. She began reading the text aloud.

" 'The keyblade is a legendary weapon that chooses it's master. It is a powerful weapon that can act as both a sword, and a key. With a keyblade, it's master can have the ability to lock and unlock any keyhole, including the keyhole to the hearts of worlds. Normally, the Keyblade will choose it's master depending on the strength of the master's heart, but if perhaps the chosen master is not in the correct condition, then it will choose another master. For example, if the original Master's heart was lingering in darkness, and the Keyblade was chosen for light, then the Keyblade will leave the master and choose another that is held in the realm of light.' "

Twilight turned the page, where there was more information. The picture that came with it contained the view of a beautiful castle. " 'All Keyblade wielders train on the same world; The Land of Departure. On this world, Keyblade wielders from different worlds have the ability to communicate and interact as they train together throughout the years. The training begins usually when the chosen wielder is around the age of thirteen, and then will take a final exam at the age of either eighteen, nineteen, or twenty, depending on how fast the progress works, known as the Mark of Mastery Exam. If they pass, then they will officially earn the title of 'Keyblade Master'. If not, then they will have to go through another year or two of training before trying again.' "

"Does it say how long they have been doin' this?" Applejack asked. Twilight looked to see for herself.

"It say here that the routine goes back for many generations, probably even before Princess Celestia and Luna's great grandparents were born."

Suddenly, Fluttershy gasped. In confusion, everypony turned to her.

"What is it?" Twilight asked. Fluttershy didn't say anything, but instead slowly pointed her hoof towards the portrait on the right page, as Twilight had to turn the page again.

It was a group photo of four strange two-legged creatures that Twilight Sparkle recognized as Human Beings. In the front was a young male, who looked to be a teenager, perhaps fifteen or so. He had dirty blonde, spiky, windswept hair, sapphire blue eyes, and a cheerful smile.

On the right side was a tall young male, looking at least a few years older than the blonde boy, perhaps nineteen. He had earth brown hair that was spiked at the top and the back, dark blue eyes, slightly tanned skin, and he was a tad buff.

On the left side was a young female, who looked to be around the same age as the brunette. She had short water blue hair that was slicked in a couple of spike in the back to resemble crashing waves, beautiful sea blue eyes, fair skin, and a gentle smile.

Finally in the back was an elderly male with a few scars on his face, long dark hair that was put into a ponytail, thick eyebrows, brown eyes, and slightly darker skin.

While the elder in the back didn't mean anything to the ponies, the blonde, brunette, and blunette looked familiar...

It then dawned upon them a full minute after they looked at the picture.

"NO WAY!!!" They all yelled, feeling a little stupid for not figuring it out sooner.

"How could have we missed it?! It all makes sense, now!" Twilight concluded. "Ven, Aqua and Terra are from another world, and they train to be Keyblade Masters so they can protect Kingdom Hearts like their mentors before them. The reason why Ven did not know how to fly when he first met you, Rainbow Dash, is because he never had wings until he reached this world. Aqua did not know Unicorn magic because she's not really a unicorn, but is instead skilled in the kind of magic that Keyblade Masters use. And Terra did not know how to buck an apple tree because humans don't get them out the same way we do."

"But something still doesn't make sense..." Rarity muttered. Everpony turned to her. "What are there doing here in Ponyville?"

"That's what I'm going to find out!" Rainbow Dash declared as she almost flew off, but Applejack grabbed her tail.

"Whoa there, partner."She said, muffled. "If you're going, we're going too."

"Rainbow Dash and Applejack are right, we'll never know why they are here if we don't talk to them." Spike agreed. Everypony nodded.

"So it's settled, we must speak to them after Princess Celestia is done." Twilight concluded, raising her hoof into the air. All the ponies (And Spike) nodded and raised their hooves as well, declairing the same.

Meanwhile, back with Princesses Celestia and Luna, and the trio of travelers, Celestia had just finsihed warning the three of them.

"So, what you are saying is that Master Xehanort is behind everything?" Terra asked. Celestia and Luna nodded.

"I can't believe this!" Ven said in a mad tone, pounding his hoof on the ground. "He was my former mentor before I lost my memory..." He lowered his head in sadness.

"So, what are we supposed to do now that we know who we are after?" Aqua asked.

"You must fight him before he has a chance to create the X-blade and restart the Keyblade War. If he does so, he will have power over the Darkness, and therefore, the universe." Luna instructed.

"But how can we prevent him creating the X-blade, if I'm involved in it?" Ven asked, dreading the answer. Princesses Luna looked away with a sad look, as Princesses Celestia had a look of uncertainty.

"If you are to become one with your perfect darkness, you must destroy the X-blade from the inside." Luna explained.

"So, if I destroy the X-blade, does this mean that... I'll die?" Ven asked dreadfully, Terra and Aqua having pleading looks when he asked.

"While it is likely, there is a chance that you can survive this. But you will need a reason to come back for something like that. Something worth fighting for, like a friend that will wait for your return, or an important promise you made for someone." Celestia explained.

"Well, in that case, I know now what I have to do." Ven concluded, determination dawning upon his face as he stood up. "I need to remember that I have friends from all of the worlds I went to, waiting for me to someday come back. Like Zack and Hercules, or Peter Pan."

"Or our new pony friends on this world." Aqua added, standing up alongside Ven. Terra did the same.

"Speaking of which, how will we explain this to them?" Terra asked.

"We will tell them everything, because they deserve to know." Princess Luna replied. "But you guys need to get moving, because you have to stop Master Xehanort and Vanitas as soon as you can."

The trio nodded, but Ven hung his head sadly. "I just wish that I could atleast say goodbye to them."

"YOU GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO MISTER!!" They heard a voice shout. The trio and the princesses turned to the ponies and Spike standing from afar. Rainbow Dash flew up to Ven's face.

"Dash?! What are you doing here?!" Ven asked.

"Askin' what we're wondering." Aqua and Terra look at the door to see the other ponys and Twilight rubbed the back of her head.

"Forgive Rainbow Dash, she's just impatient as ever." She apologized embarrassed.

Ven, Aqua and Terra looked at eachother, and then nodded as though making a silent agreement. Then they turned back to the ponies.

"We definately would like to confess..." Ven began.

"But we are in a hurry and we need to leave as soon as possible, which is why Princess Celestia and Princess Luna will be explaining everything to you after we depart." Terra finished.

Shocked faces fell on the six expecting ponies in the room. You could see the devastation in their eyes.

"W-what...?" Twilight asked, her voice already breaking.

"I am afraid to say it, but it is true." Princess Celestia replied.

"B-but they can't go! We just met them!" Rainbow Dash proclaimed.

"I'm sorry, everypony, but we really need to leave." Aqua insisted, sad that she had to leave her new friends behind.

"But... will we ever see you again? I hardly got a chance to know you." Fluttershy asked.

Ven walked over to the sad Fluttershy, and put a hoof on her shoulder. "Fluttershy, I swear on our newfound friendship that we will someday return." Ven promised her. "You have our word."

Fluttershy looked him in the eye for a long time, and then gave in, sighing. "Alright, I trust you." She finally said.

"You'd better return!" Rainbow Dash cried, flying over to her friend. "'Cause you'll regret it if you don't!"

"Please write to us, or send us a postcard." Rarity requested.

"And don't go forgettin' that you three are always welcome here in Ponyville." Applejack added.

"And while you're at it, see if you can come back for the Grand Galloping Gala, or The Summer Sun Celebration, or my birthday party, or Twilight's birthday, or Applejack's birthday..." Pinkie Pie continued.

"And if you ever need any help, we are always ready to listen." Twilight Sparkle finished, giving them each a hug.

Fluttershy then gave Terra and Aqua a hug, before moving on to Ven.

"Be safe." Was the last thing she said before giving Ven a kiss on the cheek. Ven furiously blushed while giving out a goofy grin. He shook himself and nodded.

"But before we leave, we have a confession to make." Terra finished, as his body began to glow. The same thing went for Ven and Aqua.

The ponies and Spike watched in awe as Ven, Aqua and Terra began shift-shaping in their glowing bodies. The light became too bright to where the ponies and Spike had to shield their eyes for a moment. When they opened them again, they gasped.

For right before them, was a trio of human beings, looking very familiar.

"....Aqua?" Twilight asked the bluenette woman. "Is that you?" Aqua nodded.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Pinkie Pie said in awe.

Rarity overlooked at their now human friends. "Now dears, how could you go around dressed like that? Though I must say...." She went over to Terra and examined one of his pants legs. "You have the strangest choice of pants, Terra."

"Uhh......thanks?" Terra said while rubbing the back of his neck, unsure of how to take it. Everyone else in the room laughed together. Ven, after wiping away a few tears from his eyes, got down on one knee to look Fluttershy in the eye again.

"I promise." He said. Fluttershy nodded.

"I believe you."

Standing up, Ven looked back at Aqua and Terra, who nodded at Ven. The trio then walked outside to an open field where there was no trees, and then pounded on the buttons of their shoulder armor.

After the light died down, Twilight Sparkle reopened her eyes to see that her three human friends were now covered in Armor. Simultaneously, they summoned their Keyblades, and then opened a portal wide enough for all three of them. Hurling their Keyblades like boomerangs, the trio leaped into the air as the ponies (And Spike) watched in awe as their Keyblades turned into their respective Keyblade Gliders; Ven's hoverboard, Terra's motorbike, and Aqua's segway.

Giving off a final salute, Ven, Aqua, and Terra all yelled, "WE PROMISE WE'LL COME BACK TO VISIT!!!" Right before they disappeared through the portal.

Twilight Sparkle and the ponies gaped in disbelief, blinking a few times. But after recovering, Twilight turned to the two princesses.

"Um... Didn't you say that you were going to explain their story?" She asked them.

Princess Celestia smiled. "You should probably sit down, it is a long story..."

"Yay, storytime!" Pinkie Pie cheered, pulling a pillow and Teddy Bear out of nowhere.

While Princess Celestia and Luna were explaining their tale to the ponies (And Spike), Ven was looking back at Equestria one last time, thinking about the good times he had on this world. Terra and Aqua both seemed to have sensed that.

"Miss them already?" Terra asked.

"Yeah, especially Rainbow Dash." Ven replied. "She was the one who taught me how to fly when I first arrived."

"Well, I'm sure that we'll make it out of this battle alive." Aqua reassured him. "Then you can go back to see her again.... Though are you sure it's not Fluttershy that you'll miss the most?"

Ven blushed under his armor. "Hey!"

Terra and Aqua laughed as Ven denied his slight crush on Fluttershy.

But as they rode on, they knew that while they had a big battle ahead of them, they realized that they had something worth fighting for; their friends from other worlds.

In their minds, they all looked back at the various friends from other worlds;

Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Cinderella, her fairy godmother and Jaq, Princess Aurora, Prince Philip and the three good fairies, Mickey Mouse, Queen Minnie and her loyal subjects, Phil, Zack and Hercules, Experiment 626, Peter Pan and the lost boys, Sora, Riku, and Kairi...

And finally, the six little ponies of Equestria; Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy, as well as Spike, and the two princesses Celestia and Luna.

Simultaneously, they smiled, knowing it was good to have so many friends.

WARNING! Spoilers for Birth by Sleep

Terra was flying through the galaxy on his Keyblade Glider, thinking about all that's happened. About the good times he had with Ven and Aqua, about how the jouney had torn them apart because of that damn Mark of Mastery exam that he had failed, and about how this made him feel.

"Ven.. Aqua... if only I could speak to you about all that's happened... to apologize... to be able to reconcile with you both... with all that's happened, would it really be worth it?"

Yearning to clear the depressing thoughts out of his head, his eyes scanned his eyesight in front of him, in search for something, anything, that might catch his attention. But then he saw something that immediately banished all of his previous thoughts;

It was a new world, one that he had never seen before, floating a fair distance away from him. It was bright and colorful. It had a castle on the top, a forest at the left side, a village on the right side, and a mountain on the bottom.

Curious, Terra aimed his Keyblade Glider to the new world that he hadn't seen before, wondering on what to find there.

Light blasted through the area, startling any animals that had been close by. Slowly, the earth warrior stepped out of the portal he had created, and into the new world's grounds. His suit of armor disappeared, and he observed his surroundings;

He was in a forest of apple trees, and judging by the barn that he saw in the distance on top of a hill, Terra guessed that he had to be on a farm property of some sort. Looking up at the apples had brought out his inner hunger, and he realized something; When was the last time that he had eaten? His point seemed to have been reinforced by the sudden grumbling in his stomach.

Terra looked around. The last thing he wanted was to be accused of being a thief, and he was too hungry to search for something else. After making sure nobody was watching, Terra walked over to the nearest tree---

Wait a minute.

Something didn't seem right... Was he walking on all fours?

Confusedly, Terra looked down at what was once his left hand to see that it had been transformed into some sort of hoof, like that of a horse's, except... flat. Terra looked around and saw a nearby bucket of water, and ran over to it. Slowly, Terra looked in his reflection in the water... to see a brown little pony staring right back at him.

Terra was shocked at his new appearance, and looked at the rest of his body; he still had the spikiness in his hair, but it had grown longer to the length of a mane that went down to his back, and he had a tail now. He had light brown fur, and he still had his cobalt blue eyes, but what had truly caught his attention was a little marking on his flank, that looked like a mountain of some sort.

'Great...' Terra thought, frowning. 'I just hope that Ven never sees me like this, because I don't think he'll ever let me live this down...'

Terra shook his head, remembering that he was hungry. He looked up at the apples. How could he get them down when he didn't have any hands?

"Looks like I'm going to have to improvise." Terra told himself, as he made the desicion on what to do; He was going to have to shake the apples out the tree by headbuttting it. Taking a few steps back, Terra dug at the ground to prepare himself, then charged at the nearest apple tree (As he unfortunately couldn't climb it, as he was a horse)...

And ended up regretting it, as this turned out to be a painful experience for his head. While rubbing his forehead in pain with his front hoof (Or trying to), he heard the sound of laughter from not too faraway.

He turned to see that the voice was coming from another little pony kind of like him, a mare to be exact, who looked to be about the same size as him. She had a honey orange colored pelt, a blonde mane and tail that both of which had been tied into a pony tail at the end, white freckles on her face and cheeks, a brown western cowboy hat atop her head, and a similar marking on her flank that resembled a trio of apples.

She had her hoof over her head, laughing.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Terra asked the pony, feeling a little insulted to know that someone was laughing at his pain.

The pony wiped away her tears and looked at him with her emerald green eyes. "That ain't no way to buck an apple out of a tree, stranger." The mare said. Terra noted that she had a southern style accent.

"It's not?" Terra asked. The mare let out a few more laughs and shook her head.

"Here, let me show you how it's done." The mare offered, as she walked over to that same tree that Terra had struck seconds ago. Turning her back to the tree when she was close enough, the mare then kicked the tree with her hind legs. Then, apples started pouring down from the tree. This action had stunned Terra. He mentally face-palmed. Why hadn't he thought of that? He then opened his eyes again to speak to his bypasser.

"Uhhh, thank you for showing how it's done, but I guess I'll leave if you don't want me on your property." Terra stated, wanting to avoid trouble.

"Me? Not wanting you here?" The mare asked, sounding surprised, before laughing again. "No, I actually wanted to ask you somethin'; If you don't mind, could you lend me a hoof?"

"In what?"

"You see, it's applebuck season here in Ponyville, and every year the Apple family has to collect all the apples that they've harvested in the year, and I could use all the help I can get, as my older brother Big Macintosh had hurt himself again."

Terra thought about it. He was kind of busy at the moment, but he couldn't turn down being a gentlemen. No... gentlestallion? Whatever... He finally decided to say yes.

"Well, I suppose, as I really shouldn't leave you to do it all by yourself."

"Good, because you do not want to know what happened last time my big brother got himself hurt during applebuck season..." The pony muttered, before shaking her head and turning back to Terra. "What's your name, by the way? I'm Applejack." She introduced, holding out her hoof.

"I'm Terra." Terra replied, realizing that apparently he could shake hooves with Applejack.

"Okay, Terra, let's get to work." Applejack stated, before taking off. Terra smiled as he watched his new friend starting to do her work. It was always nice to make new friends.

Terra wasn't the only one who had come across this new world. At the same time that Terra had seen it, Ven had been thinking the same thoughts, had seen the same world, and become just as equally curious as Terra was. The only real difference was that Ven had landed elsewhere.

In Ven's point of view, the first thing he saw was nothing but clouds and endless sky. Puzzled, Ven looked down to see that the ground...

Was hundreds of feet below him.

Ven panicked and braced himself for the fall... only to notice something out of place. Ven reopened his eyes to see that he was somehow floating in the air. 'Weird...' He thought as he brought a hand to scratch himself in confusion... but then felt something odd. He looked at his hand to see that he, like Terra, had been transformed into a little pony.

He had light green fur, his hair had grown in the back down his neck to a mane, he had a tail that matched his mane, and the marking on his flank was a tornado. But what had really caught his attention was that he had grown a pair of feathered wings that matched his fur pelt. He was a little pegasus pony!

When Ven discovered his new wings, excitement bubbled within him, and then tested out his new wings with a single beat. It sent him a few feet higher up into the air. He joyfully began soaring through the sky, already picking up speed. He whooped in excitement as he zoomed through the clouds, feeling like this was the best day of his--

BANG!

Ven was so excited to know that he could fly without having to use his Keyblade glider, that he completely forgot to watch where he was going.

"Hey! Watch it, buddy!" A voice scolded.

"Sorry, I was so excited that I forgot to watch where I was going." Ven apologized, rubbing his forehead with his hoof to soothe the pain. He then opened his eyes to see that he was sitting on a cloud, and looked at who he had bumped into; She was also a pegasus, with sky blue fur, maroon eyes, a mane and tail the color of the rainbow, and a marking on her flank that had a lightning bolt shaped rainbow emerging from a single cloud. The pony had a puzzled look on her face.

"Excited? About what?" The pony asked. Ven wasn't sure how to tell her, because he knew that he wasn't supposed to say that he was from another world, and something told him that he shouldn't really say that he was originally human, either. So, he decided to lie.

"Uh, well you see, a while ago, I had injured my wings so badly, that I had to stay on the ground for almost three months. It was so aggravating!"

When Ven finished his excuse, the pegasus gasped in shock, jumping into the air.

"PEGASUS CRISIS!!!" She cried, before taking Ven by the hoof and sprinting furthur up the sky. "Don't worry, I'm gonna help you relearn all that there is to know about flying!" The pegasus reassured Ven as they flew.

"Really? Oh, thanks!" Ven thanked.

"Don't mention it. I'm Rainbow Dash, by the way."

"I'm Ventus, but you can just call me Ven."

Not just Ven and Terra had landed on the same world, but Aqua did as well. She too had been thinking the same thought and had seen the same world and landed at the same time that they did. She had landed right outside of a village of some sort.

She, like Terra and Ven, had taken the form of a little pony, though she had a unicorn horn on her forehead. She had light blue fur, her hair had grown to a mane, she had a matching tail, and the mark on her flank was a waterfall.

As she trotted through town, she noticed that the world seemed to be populated by little ponies just like her, most of them having those same markings on their flanks, except for the very young ones, which gave Aqua them impression that they apparently didn't appear at birth.

Aqua was enchanted by this new world, never before seeing such an interesting race like this one. Looking around, Aqua guessed that that must be the reason why she turned into one of them; No humans existed here, which made her wonder if perhaps the ponies here even knew about humans at all. After reaching those thoughts, she realized that she would have to make up an excuse for any features from this race for not knowing about.

Then she heard a voice from a distance.

"Okay, now let's practice on twenty five once more."

Aqua turned to the sound of the voice to see two beings. One was another unicorn, who had light purple fur, a dark violet mane and tail with a magenta steak, dark violet eyes, and a hot pink star marking on her flank. The second was a young dragon, about the size of a watering can, with light purple scales, emerald green eyes, a green spine, and a creamy yellow underbelly.

The baby dragon was giving instructions to the unicorn. The unicorn nodded, and, to Aqua's surprise, her horn started to grow. Then something happened that brought even more surprise to Aqua; A moustache had appeared on the the baby dragon's face. The dragon grinned.

"I love it when you do that.." The dragon muttered, smiling.

This action had intrigued Aqua. 'So unicorns can use magic... is that why I was transformed into one?' She thought, knowing that she used magic quite a bit more then Ven or Terra usually did.

Curious by this, she closed her eyes, and began concentrating on a fire spell. Seconds later, she felt a flame casting off of her horn. Continuing the concentration, the fire had grown and stretched until it began to circle around her, as though she was twirling a ribbon around her body.

After ward, she found herself casting more spells, as she had forgotten that she was not alone. About four spells later, Aqua felt a tap on her shoulder, breaking her out of her concentraition, and turned to see the same unicorn that she had watched moments before.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry for interrupting your performance, but I have never seen the kind of magic that you have just performed before." The unicorn brought up.

"You haven't?" Aqua asked, but then remembering that not everyone knew the kind of magic she had just performed (How embarrassing for Aqua!). The unicorn shook her head.

"You see, most unicorns know psiconic magic, such as teleportation, telekinesis, and self-invisibility. But what you have just performed was based upon the elements, and this has been brought upon my interest, so I want to ask you; What kind of magic was that?"

Aqua, thinking on how Eraqus had taught her magic, thought of telling the purpose.

"Well, I was taught by my master this to be a form a self-defense for when physical wasn't enough." Aqua explained. "But... I don't really know the magic that the average unicorn knows." It was true, as she wasn't born a unicorn, but a human being. And while she couldn't tell that she was from another world, she knew that at least she could say that she lived very faraway.

"Really? That's a shame." The unicorn said sadly. But then she got an idea as she turned back to Aqua. "How about this; I could teach you unicorn magic, and maybe you could teach me a couple of those spells you just performed?"

Aqua thought about it. Right now, Aqua was on a journey to wipe out the Unversed from the universe, and she had come to this world to protect it from those same monsters. And yet... the magic that unicorn mentioned seemed like it could come in handy for the future. And besides, Aqua had always wanted to teach magic to someone, and she could, now that she was a master.

After making her decision, Aqua smiled. "Sure, as long as they don't take too long." Before proceeding, Aqua realized something. "You know... we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is Aqua, and you are?"

"Twilight Sparkle, and this is Spike." She introduced the young dragon, who waved in a friendy manner.

Aqua smiled, loving it whenever she made a new friend.

"And that, Ven, is how you do a loop-de-loop." Rainbow Dash finished. By now, Ven had learned everything about flying, and now he was practically a professional already.

"Thanks for teaching me, Rainbow Dash, it's all coming back now." Ven thanked, smiling. "So, now that I remember it all, what do you want to do now?"

"You know, I was on my way to visit one of my best friends so I could get a bite to eat, you want to come?" Rainbow Dash offered.

"Sure. You know, now that you mention it, I'm getting pretty hungry too..."

But before the two pegasi could think about flying downward, something had caught their attention;

From below, they heard the sound of a poof, followed by a scream. Startled, the two looked down to see a blue unicorn was falling through the air. Ven noticed that the unicorn looked very familar, and looked very carefully at her blue mane and tail, and listened to her voice. When he recognized the damsel in distress, Ven's eyes widened in shock.

"DON'T WORRY I'LL SAVE YOU, AQUA!!!!!" Ven shouted, immediately flying downward before Rainbow Dash had a chance to say something. Unfortunately though, Aqua was already several feet below him by the time he realized who it was, and he was still learning how to pick up speed. And too make matters worse, Aqua wasn't that far from the ground.

Meanwhile, back on the grounds of Sweet Apple Acres, Terra had just finished helping Applejack in collecting the apples for the yearly harvest. Right now, they both had baskets of apples on either side.

"Thank you kindly Terra for lending me a hoof on my share of the harvest, I don't know what I'd do if you hadn't shown up and helped me out."

"No problem." Terra replied. "Like I said before, I didn't want to leave anyone by themselves when they are in need of help."

"That just proves how much of a gentlecolt you are."

But before Terra could say anything, he suddenly stopped, starting to hear the sound of a scream. "Do you hear something?" He asked.

"Yeah, it sounds like it's a-comin' from..." She and Terra slowly looked up to see a blue pony falling out of the sky, fast!

In a panic, Terra quickly jumped and slid down to where the pony would most like land, hoping to break her fall. Thankfully, she landed right on his back. After catching the mare, he looked at the one he saved, and was surprised to recognize her right away as his old friend (And secretly, his love),

"AQUA?!" Terra asked in disbelief.

"TERRA?!" She asked, equally surprised as he was. But before they could say or do anything, they heard another voice, and it wasn't Applejack's.

"GANGWAY!!!!"

The next thing Terra and Aqua knew, they found themselves piled on top of eachother, and with a third weight atop them, and in great pain. Not only that, but they were covered in bits of apples and applesauce. Applejack was laughing at the scene.

Rainbow Dash descended from the sky, a worried look on her face. "Ven! Are you oka...?" Her voice trailed off as she neared the ground. The worry on her face faded when her eyes landed on the pile. Her face began changing, as her cheeks blew up, her lower lip was tucked under her teeth, and tears were starting to apppear, as a few snickers could be let out.

Finally, she couldn't contain it any longer, and burst out laughing at the pile, rolling alongside Applejack.

Ven sat up, groaning in pain. As he scratched himself on the back with his left forehoof, he felt something slide down his nose. He tried to examine it with his eyes, but he couldn't quite see what it was as it was too close, so he used that same forehoof to pick it off of his face to see what it was. It was a little piece of an apple, still wet from apple juice. Licking his lips, he was about to gobble it up, when a voice interrupted him.

"Ven, don't eat with that hoof, that's disgusting." Aqua scolded.

Ven halted and looked down to see that he was sitting on top of two ponies, one a light brown earth pony, the other a blue unicorn, they both looked very familiar.

The two ponies blinked at Ven. He blinked back.

"AQUA?! TERRA?!" Ven exclaimed in disbelief, leaping off of their backs in surprise.

"VEN?!" Terra and Aqua asked in return, equally surprised.

The trio just stared at eachother in shock, not believing their eyes. It was silent, no one moved... until Ven's mouth twitched into a grin. He snickered a few times, before bursting out laughing.

"Hey, what's so funny?!" Terra and Aqua asked at the same time, both feeling a little insulted by the fact that Ven was laughing.

"Us! We're a mess!" Ven replied, still laughing his butt off.

In confusion, Terra and Aqua looked at eachother to discover that they were covered in bits of mashed up apples and apple juice, just like Ven. They all looked ridiculously silly... in a fun way. When they realized this, Terra and Aqua laughed too, and in seconds all five ponies were rolling on the ground, laughing their butts off.

The sound of galloping filled the air, as Twilight sparkle and Spike had chosen that moment to come in. Rainbow Dash was the first to notice them and stopped laughing.

"Twilight Sparkle! Spike! Have you guys met the new ponies yet?" She asked, grabbing the attention of everyone else.

"I've been acquainted with Aqua earlier today, and I came here because I was worried about her safety when she had teleported up to the sky." Twilight Sparkle replied. "Are you alright, Aqua?" She asked, turning towards the blue unicorn.

Aqua, after wiping away a few tears from her laughter, nodded. "When I fell, both of my friends tried to save me, but as Ven had some trouble landing, that is why we are now like this." Aqua gestured to her messy body, mane and tail, showing that she, Ven and Terra all needed a bath.

"Can I make a suggestion?" Spike asked. Everyone turned his attention to him. "I was thinking.. maybe they could go to that new bubblebath house that Rarity was talking about?"

Twilight Sparkle pondered for a moment before saying, "Sure, I don't see any harm in it."

"That sound's nice." Ven commented, licking a bit of apple off of his cheek. Aqua glared at Ven briefly for doing that before turning back to Twilight.

"We're not intruding, are we?" Aqua asked.

"Nah, you're good." Rainbow Dash replied, before lifting herself up into the air. "Besides, it's getting boring 'round here in Ponyville." Rainbow Dash was then suddenly jerked down by the tail by Applejack.

"It's always a dull moment with you, Dash." She remarked, smirking.

"And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Rainbow Dash demanded, getting nose to nose with Applejack, who still smirked.

As Applejack and Rainbow Dash bickered, Twilight spoke up. "Don't mind them, they can be like that sometimes." Twilight shook her head and continued. "Anyways, you three are certainly welcome here in Ponyville. Also, I was thinking; After we get you three cleaned up, I was thinking perhaps we could get a bite to eat. You three look famished."

As if to reinforce Twilight's point, there was a grumbling sound, coming from the stomachs of the three travelers, putting Applejack and Rainbow Dash's bickering to a screeching halt. Ven, Aqua and Terra blushed in embarrassment, before they simultaneously nodded.

After cleaning up, Ven Aqua and Terra met up with their new pony friends at a sweet shop known as the Sugar Cube Corner ('How many times to they make references to horse-related things? Even the world is named after a horse sider!' Terra thought when he saw the shop's name), so they stepped in.

It was dark, because the lights were turned off. None of the three could see anything.

"Who turned out the lights?" Terra asked aloud, feeling his way on the wall for a light switch. After about a minute of searching he found one, and switched the light on.

"SURPRISE!!!" Several voices cried simultaneously. Ven, Aqua and Terra jumped back in surprise, nearly bumping into Twilight, who was right behind them.

"Sorry if I forgot to mention this, but I have a friend who is well known for throwing the best parties in town, and somehow, she always, always, always knows when there's somepony new in town, and likes to throw welcome parties in celebration." She explained as she walked pass them.

"You know, I was wondering where that Pink Party Animal was today." Rainbow Dash commented. Then she began waving. "Yo, Pinkie! Over here!"

Almost immediately, a seventh pony came into view, startling the trio of travelers. She had a wildly curly hot pink mane and tail, cotten candy pink fur, light blue eyes, and the marking on her flank was a trio of party balloons.

"Hi! you must be new in town. I know you are because I've never met you before, and if I never met you before then that means you're new in town, 'cause I know everypony. And by everypony, I mean everypony. So anyways, my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie Pie. And oh my gosh, you cannot believe how excited I am to see some new ponies in town..."

While Pinkie Pie babbled on, Twilight pulled away the three travelers, saving them from constant babbling. "Sorry about that, but that's just Pinkie Pie for you. You'll get used to her." Twilight promised.

'That pony is like a ninja!' Ven thought to himself.

"So, would you three like to meet the rest of our friends?" Twilight asked. The trio nodded. "Alrighty then, I'll go see if I can find them. I'll be right back."

After Twilight left to go find her friends, Ven, Aqua and Terra decided that now was the best time to talk. They looked at eachother in uncomfortable silence, which was shattered by Ven moments later.

"Guys," He began, taking in a deep breath. "I'm sorry for running off like that. I was just really worried. Terra, I'm sorry for following you against order, but I was worried about you, with all the rmors I've been hearinga bout you." He turned to Aqua. "And Aqua, I'm so sorry for what I said back at that one world." Aqua could see the sadness in his eyes.

"I'm sorry too, Aqua." Terra continued, also saddened. "I was being-"

Aqua cut him off. "Guys, it's allright." They looked at her confusedly. "I know that niether one of you were really yourselves, nor was I."

"But, we said some horrible things to you!" Ven brought up. Aqua remained calm.

"Yes, and they hurt, but they didn't matter to me. Yes, I was sent after Terra and to send you home, Ven, but I learned something; In the end, we all are making these sacrifices for eachother's sake, and that just shows how much we really care for eachother." Aqua let out a small tear before continuing. "Sometimes, I act overprotective of my friends, but when I step back is when I see that you both are the only family I have, and I know that you see me the same way because of our actions in the journey."

Terra and Ven stared at Aqua, feeling renewed happiness. "You boys are my true family, and I pray that we don't ever be seperated like that ever again." Aqua finished.

Terra and Ven both nodded, and they pulled Aqua into a hug. "Let's never fight again." Ven declared as he hugged Aqua, tears of renewed joy cascading from all three of them.

"Um, did I miss something?" A voice asked. Ven, Aqua and Terra broke apart to see that Twilight was back, with two new ponies on either side of her.

One was another pegasus. She had creamy yellow fur, a long light pink mane and tail, sea blue eyes, and a marking on her flank of three purple butterflies. She looked kind of shy, but very sweet.

The second was another unicorn. She had snow white fur, a violet mane and tail, sapphire blue eyes, long eyelashes, and a marking of three blue diamonds.

The trio of ponies were confused by how Ven, Aqua and Terra were hugging for some reason that they didn't know about. Ven, Aqua and Terra looked at eachother, then back at Twilight.

"It's nothing, Twilight." Ven reassured her. "So, who's your friends?"

"Oh, right." Twilight said, correcting herself. She first geustured to the pegasus. "Ventus, Aqua, Terra, this is Fluttershy. Fluttershy, this is Ventus, Aqua, and Terra."

"Hi..." Fluttershy said in a shy voice.

"And this is Rarity." Twilight gestured to the white unicorn beside her.

After introductions, Ven, Aqua and Terra began attending to some of the different party activities. It was a new experience for Ven, as he had lost memory of his entire life several months ago, so everything from the morning dawn to the common cold had become brand new to him again, and he had never been to any parties like this one.

When he related this to his new friend Pinkie Pie, she gasped and quickly promised that she was going to teach him everything there is to know about partying (Though it took Ven a little while to digest what she said, as she speaks in a fast pace).

Terra and Aqua meanwhile were speaking to their new friends Rarity and Fluttershy.

"So, do tell me, where are you two dears from?" Rarity asked, sounding interested. Terra and Aqua mentally panicked, not sure what to say, before Aqua decided to improvise.

"We're uhhh... from very faraway, you've probably never heard of it." Aqua made up, sweating uneasily.

"Yeah, much furthur then you've been, I'm sure." Terra added, also sweating.

Rarity squinted her eyes and looked them in the eye. "Try me." She challanged.

Before the two could think of any other excuses, Ven brought up something. "Uh, Pinkie... what's that green thing in the punch?" Ven asked in an uneasy tone, pointing to something in the punchbowl.

Pinkie Pie followed his eyesight, and then giggled. "Oh, that? That's just Gummy, my pet baby alligator." She replied.

"You're pet WHAT?!" Ven asked in disbelief. The infant reptile leaped out of the punchbowl and lunged at Ven, jaw opening. Ven's eyes dilated in fear as he began to panic.

"AHHHHHGETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFFFF!!!" He cried in a panicking tone, his wings rabidly flapping, knocking several things over, sometimes ponies as well.

"Ven, calm down!" Applejack cried, galloping over toward the panicking pegasus. Ven listened to his friend and calmed down. Well, physically, but mentally he was still in a panic. Gently, Applejack pried the baby Alligator off of Ven, and then opened the reptile's mouth to reveal that it had no teeth.

When Ven saw this, he shied away in embarrassment, realizing that he just made a fool of himself in public by getting into a panic over nothing. Terra and Aqua joined either side of him to give him some comfort.

Before anypony could say anything else, a new voice spoke. "Hey everypony listen up!" All the ponies in the room turned to see a lavender pony with a green mane and tail, emerald eyes, and a paint brush and pallet mark on her flank (Which, according to Twilight, was called a "Cutie Mark"); was standing at the door. "There has been a sudden announcement that Princess Celestia is coming to town!"

The entire room cheered in excitement, except for a certain trio, who kept quiet. They huddled together.

"Who do you think she is?" Terra asked Aqua in a whispering tone, hoping that no one would notice the one thing they don't know, because otherwise it could possibly lead to having to spill the beans.

"She sounds like the ruler of this world, so she must be pretty important." Aqua guessed in that same tone.

"I love whispering stuff, what are we whispering about?"

Ven, Aqua and Terra turned to see Pinkie Pie looking at them with her trademark grin, as she had somehow joined the huddle without them noticing. ('NINJA!')

"How long have you been listening?" Terra asked.

"I over heard that you guys...." It took Pinkie Pie a couple of seconds to register what she overheard.

Meanwhile, in a chariot in the outskirts of Ponyville, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were speaking to eachother about past events.

"So what you are saying, is that a little pony in a mask was what had brought you to your state of Nightmare Moon?" Princess Celestia asked her younger sister, who nodded.

"Yes, he said that he enjoyed the night greatly, and that it was a shame that no other pony enjoyed the night as much as he did, so he gave me that ball of darkness, telling me that I had the power to make night time last forever." Luna explained.

"So that is what had given you idea of Eternal Night?" Celestia asked. Another nod from the moon princess. "But what had happened to him after that?"

"He just disappeared into thin air, and I never saw him again."

Celestia went into a deep ponder, worrying her sister. "Big sister?" She asked. Celestia then had a determined look on her face.

"Luna, we must warn-"

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHO PRINCESS CELESTIA IS?!?!?!?!"

Due to the loud voice, both Celestia and Luna nearly fell out of their chariot, if it weren't for fast reflexes. After getting back up, Celestia and Luna both had an interested smile on their face as they both raised an eyebrow.

"It appears that we have found the location of Master Eraqus' three students." Celestia stated. Luna nodded in agreement.

Back with the ponies in Ponyville, everypony in the room stared at Ven, Aqua and Terra in disbelief. For Pinkie Pie's statement was so loud, that not only the entire room had heard it, but so did any outside bypassers. The trio was sweating like crazy, completely out of their easy zone.

Twilight Sparkle stepped foreword. "How is this possible? Even if you lived in the farthest corners of Equestria, surely you must know of our Princess." She brought up, raising an eyebrow. The trio of off-worlders were sweating at their maximum, completely in a panic. They couldn't think of any excuses, but they couldn't tell the truth either.

But then, a new light of hope had dawned upon them.

"What is all of the fuss about?"

Everypony turned around to see a beautiful tall mare standing at the doorway. She, like Rainbow Dash, had a mane and tail in various colors, but her's was in more of pastel. She was very tall, she had pure white fur, amethyst eyes, a long unicorn horn, two angelic wings on her back, golden markings on her hooves, and her cutie mark was a shining sun. She also had a tiara and necklace.

Beside her was a smaller mare, but still taller then the average pony. She had a long, flowing blue mane and tail, dark blue-violet fur, blue eyes, a longer then average horn, little feathered wings, midnight blue markings on her hooves, a white crescent moon for a cutie mark, and a little black tiara on her head.

They were Princesses Celestia and Luna, the rulers of Equestria. Everypony bowed down before the two, including Ven, Aqua and Terra. When Celestia laid eyes on the trio, she calmly walked over to the trio.

"Princess Luna and I wish to speak with the three newcomers in private." She requested, referring to the trio. Everypony looked back at the uneasy trio, who slowly walked over to Princess Celestia and Luna, feeling more and more uneasy by the countless stares from the many ponies in the room. As the trio walked outside, Celestia spoke up to the rest of the ponies.

"I want you all to know; While I am ruler of all of Equestria, it is still possible for somepony to not know of me. So please, donnot make such a big deal out of something as small as this." She then followed the newcomers and her younger sister outside, leaving everypony in the room bewildered.

After Celestia and Luna had lead the trio outside to a forest so they could go for a wolk while speaking, Celestia began to speak to the trio. "So, you three are apprentices of Master Eraqus?" Her question had shocked the trio.

"You knew our master?!" Terra asked in disbelief. Celestia and Luna both nodded.

"I need to explain something to you;

You see, Luna and I are not only the rulers of Equestria, but we are also responsible for raising the sun and the moon of our world. I raise and lower the sun to begin the day, and Luna raises and lowers the moon to begin the night."

Ven, Aqua and Terra knew that every world had it's own sun and moon that constantly revolved around it, but they didn't know that some revolved differently then others. They nodded, urging her to continue.

"We maintain balance for our kingdom, creating harmony for all of Equestria." Luna continued. "But however, a thousand and one years ago, for we have much longer life spans, I had become resentful, jealous of my older sister, because of how the little ponies had played though the day, and slept through the night. At first, I just shrugged it off as jealousy, but then I met some true encouragement from a strange pony in a mask..."

"WHAT?!?" The three yelled, realizing who it was and where this was going.

"Because of the bitterness in my heart, I had become a wicked mare of Darkness; Nightmare Moon."

Ven didn't like the sound of the name, nor did Terra or Aqua.

"When she had become like that, I knew only one way to stop her, but I could not do it alone. I needed some assistance from somepony with a strong heart, and that is why your master had gone back in time; To prevent this world from being covered in Darkness."

"But if that's the case, then how did Princess Luna come back to her senses?" Ven asked.

"After Eraqus and I defeated her, I was resorted to banishing her to the moon for a thousand and one years. But I knew she could not stay in there forever. On the thousand and first year, the stars would aden her escape, and there had to be another force to defeat her until I could help her return to her senses; The spirits of the elements of Harmony.

After Luna became herself again, I recieved a letter from your Master soon after you began your journey, so we have come this way to warn you..."

Back with the ponies of Ponyville, things had seemed to have quieted down with Twilight Sparkle. She was in her bedroom, pacing back and fourth like a caged zoo tiger, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her new friends and how they didn't even know the princess. Even though Celestia herself said that it was possible for somepony to not know her, it still didn't add up; Why did she not tell her that until today?

She needed answers, but where?

Twilight mentally face-hoofed. "Duh! I have a library!"

But the moment she stepped into the library of her house, she knew that she wasn't alone; Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and even Spike were all looking through different books.

"It appears that you guys have been thinking what I have been thinking?" Twilight asked her friends, who nodded as they continued searching. Twilight then began searching, but stopped herself; How can she find answers, when she still didn't even know what kind of questions to ask?

That was when Applejack suddenly brought up; "Hey everypony, look at this!" immediately, all room inhabitants were reading over her shoulder at the book she found; It was titled, Legends of the stars.

But what had really caught their attention was the content she found within that Twilight read aloud; " 'It is said that for every star in the sky, there is another world'... Another world?" Twilight asked no pony in particular. "What does that mean?"

"Hey guys, take a look at this!" Spike piped up, drawing the attention of all six ponies. In his clawy hands was a book, titled, List of Other Worlds. However, it was a humongous book, and Spike couldn't hold it for very long, so Twilight had to telepathically lift it onto a table. Slowly, Twilight opened the book, and the first page became a real shocker to all ponies;

There was a very long index at the front, and the index listed the names of various lands that they had never head of, such as Destiny Islands, or Agrabah, or Radiant Garden, or even The Land of Dragons (Which had caught Spike's attention).

Everypony stared in awe and wonder at the long list.

"This is... incredible!" Twilight commented in amazement and awe. "To think, that Equestria is just a small piece of something much, much greater."

The ponies (And Spike) constantly scanned the long list of world names, until one particular name had caught their attention; Kingdom Hearts. It was at the very end of the list. Curiously, Twilight used her unicorn powers to turn to the first page that held information on this, 'Kingdom Hearts'. Once she found the information, Twilight began reading aloud.

" 'Kingdom Hearts is said to be the heart of all worlds. For every living thing, there is a heart, and worlds have hearts too. It is very important that Kingdom Hearts is protected, for if Kingdom hearts was destroyed or to fall into the wrong hooves, then the entire universe would be swallowed in...' " Twilight hesitated a little, before finishing. " '...swallowed in darkness.' "

Everypony gasped in shock, and Rarity did a little fainting act. Applejack then urged Twilight to continue. " 'Which is why Kingdom Hearts must always be guarded by The Warriors of the Keyblade. For more information, look for a book about the Keyblade.' "

When Twilight was done, the ponies and Spike felt more questions raising. immediately, Twilight began looking through the 'K' section of her library, until she finally found what she was looking for; The Legendary Keyblade; A Reference Guide.

Opening up the book, she saw a page that had informative text on one page. On the other was a picture of a little black pegasus with a messy mane and tail, and in it's mouth was... what looked like a key, but yet at the same time a sword. She began reading the text aloud.

" 'The keyblade is a legendary weapon that chooses it's master. It is a powerful weapon that can act as both a sword, and a key. With a keyblade, it's master can have the ability to lock and unlock any keyhole, including the keyhole to the hearts of worlds. Normally, the Keyblade will choose it's master depending on the strength of the master's heart, but if perhaps the chosen master is not in the correct condition, then it will choose another master. For example, if the original Master's heart was lingering in darkness, and the Keyblade was chosen for light, then the Keyblade will leave the master and choose another that is held in the realm of light.' "

Twilight turned the page, where there was more information. The picture that came with it contained the view of a beautiful castle. " 'All Keyblade wielders train on the same world; The Land of Departure. On this world, Keyblade wielders from different worlds have the ability to communicate and interact as they train together throughout the years. The training begins usually when the chosen wielder is around the age of thirteen, and then will take a final exam at the age of either eighteen, nineteen, or twenty, depending on how fast the progress works, known as the Mark of Mastery Exam. If they pass, then they will officially earn the title of 'Keyblade Master'. If not, then they will have to go through another year or two of training before trying again.' "

"Does it say how long they have been doin' this?" Applejack asked. Twilight looked to see for herself.

"It say here that the routine goes back for many generations, probably even before Princess Celestia and Luna's great grandparents were born."

Suddenly, Fluttershy gasped. In confusion, everypony turned to her.

"What is it?" Twilight asked. Fluttershy didn't say anything, but instead slowly pointed her hoof towards the portrait on the right page, as Twilight had to turn the page again.

It was a group photo of four strange two-legged creatures that Twilight Sparkle recognized as Human Beings. In the front was a young male, who looked to be a teenager, perhaps fifteen or so. He had dirty blonde, spiky, windswept hair, sapphire blue eyes, and a cheerful smile.

On the right side was a tall young male, looking at least a few years older than the blonde boy, perhaps nineteen. He had earth brown hair that was spiked at the top and the back, dark blue eyes, slightly tanned skin, and he was a tad buff.

On the left side was a young female, who looked to be around the same age as the brunette. She had short water blue hair that was slicked in a couple of spike in the back to resemble crashing waves, beautiful sea blue eyes, fair skin, and a gentle smile.

Finally in the back was an elderly male with a few scars on his face, long dark hair that was put into a ponytail, thick eyebrows, brown eyes, and slightly darker skin.

While the elder in the back didn't mean anything to the ponies, the blonde, brunette, and blunette looked familiar...

It then dawned upon them a full minute after they looked at the picture.

"NO WAY!!!" They all yelled, feeling a little stupid for not figuring it out sooner.

"How could have we missed it?! It all makes sense, now!" Twilight concluded. "Ven, Aqua and Terra are from another world, and they train to be Keyblade Masters so they can protect Kingdom Hearts like their mentors before them. The reason why Ven did not know how to fly when he first met you, Rainbow Dash, is because he never had wings until he reached this world. Aqua did not know Unicorn magic because she's not really a unicorn, but is instead skilled in the kind of magic that Keyblade Masters use. And Terra did not know how to buck an apple tree because humans don't get them out the same way we do."

"But something still doesn't make sense..." Rarity muttered. Everpony turned to her. "What are there doing here in Ponyville?"

"That's what I'm going to find out!" Rainbow Dash declared as she almost flew off, but Applejack grabbed her tail.

"Whoa there, partner."She said, muffled. "If you're going, we're going too."

"Rainbow Dash and Applejack are right, we'll never know why they are here if we don't talk to them." Spike agreed. Everypony nodded.

"So it's settled, we must speak to them after Princess Celestia is done." Twilight concluded, raising her hoof into the air. All the ponies (And Spike) nodded and raised their hooves as well, declairing the same.

Meanwhile, back with Princesses Celestia and Luna, and the trio of travelers, Celestia had just finsihed warning the three of them.

"So, what you are saying is that Master Xehanort is behind everything?" Terra asked. Celestia and Luna nodded.

"I can't believe this!" Ven said in a mad tone, pounding his hoof on the ground. "He was my former mentor before I lost my memory..." He lowered his head in sadness.

"So, what are we supposed to do now that we know who we are after?" Aqua asked.

"You must fight him before he has a chance to create the X-blade and restart the Keyblade War. If he does so, he will have power over the Darkness, and therefore, the universe." Luna instructed.

"But how can we prevent him creating the X-blade, if I'm involved in it?" Ven asked, dreading the answer. Princesses Luna looked away with a sad look, as Princesses Celestia had a look of uncertainty.

"If you are to become one with your perfect darkness, you must destroy the X-blade from the inside." Luna explained.

"So, if I destroy the X-blade, does this mean that... I'll die?" Ven asked dreadfully, Terra and Aqua having pleading looks when he asked.

"While it is likely, there is a chance that you can survive this. But you will need a reason to come back for something like that. Something worth fighting for, like a friend that will wait for your return, or an important promise you made for someone." Celestia explained.

"Well, in that case, I know now what I have to do." Ven concluded, determination dawning upon his face as he stood up. "I need to remember that I have friends from all of the worlds I went to, waiting for me to someday come back. Like Zack and Hercules, or Peter Pan."

"Or our new pony friends on this world." Aqua added, standing up alongside Ven. Terra did the same.

"Speaking of which, how will we explain this to them?" Terra asked.

"We will tell them everything, because they deserve to know." Princess Luna replied. "But you guys need to get moving, because you have to stop Master Xehanort and Vanitas as soon as you can."

The trio nodded, but Ven hung his head sadly. "I just wish that I could atleast say goodbye to them."

"YOU GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO MISTER!!" They heard a voice shout. The trio and the princesses turned to the ponies and Spike standing from afar. Rainbow Dash flew up to Ven's face.

"Dash?! What are you doing here?!" Ven asked.

"Askin' what we're wondering." Aqua and Terra look at the door to see the other ponys and Twilight rubbed the back of her head.

"Forgive Rainbow Dash, she's just impatient as ever." She apologized embarrassed.

Ven, Aqua and Terra looked at eachother, and then nodded as though making a silent agreement. Then they turned back to the ponies.

"We definately would like to confess..." Ven began.

"But we are in a hurry and we need to leave as soon as possible, which is why Princess Celestia and Princess Luna will be explaining everything to you after we depart." Terra finished.

Shocked faces fell on the six expecting ponies in the room. You could see the devastation in their eyes.

"W-what...?" Twilight asked, her voice already breaking.

"I am afraid to say it, but it is true." Princess Celestia replied.

"B-but they can't go! We just met them!" Rainbow Dash proclaimed.

"I'm sorry, everypony, but we really need to leave." Aqua insisted, sad that she had to leave her new friends behind.

"But... will we ever see you again? I hardly got a chance to know you." Fluttershy asked.

Ven walked over to the sad Fluttershy, and put a hoof on her shoulder. "Fluttershy, I swear on our newfound friendship that we will someday return." Ven promised her. "You have our word."

Fluttershy looked him in the eye for a long time, and then gave in, sighing. "Alright, I trust you." She finally said.

"You'd better return!" Rainbow Dash cried, flying over to her friend. "'Cause you'll regret it if you don't!"

"Please write to us, or send us a postcard." Rarity requested.

"And don't go forgettin' that you three are always welcome here in Ponyville." Applejack added.

"And while you're at it, see if you can come back for the Grand Galloping Gala, or The Summer Sun Celebration, or my birthday party, or Twilight's birthday, or Applejack's birthday..." Pinkie Pie continued.

"And if you ever need any help, we are always ready to listen." Twilight Sparkle finished, giving them each a hug.

Fluttershy then gave Terra and Aqua a hug, before moving on to Ven.

"Be safe." Was the last thing she said before giving Ven a kiss on the cheek. Ven furiously blushed while giving out a goofy grin. He shook himself and nodded.

"But before we leave, we have a confession to make." Terra finished, as his body began to glow. The same thing went for Ven and Aqua.

The ponies and Spike watched in awe as Ven, Aqua and Terra began shift-shaping in their glowing bodies. The light became too bright to where the ponies and Spike had to shield their eyes for a moment. When they opened them again, they gasped.

For right before them, was a trio of human beings, looking very familiar.

"....Aqua?" Twilight asked the bluenette woman. "Is that you?" Aqua nodded.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Pinkie Pie said in awe.

Rarity overlooked at their now human friends. "Now dears, how could you go around dressed like that? Though I must say...." She went over to Terra and examined one of his pants legs. "You have the strangest choice of pants, Terra."

"Uhh......thanks?" Terra said while rubbing the back of his neck, unsure of how to take it. Everyone else in the room laughed together. Ven, after wiping away a few tears from his eyes, got down on one knee to look Fluttershy in the eye again.

"I promise." He said. Fluttershy nodded.

"I believe you."

Standing up, Ven looked back at Aqua and Terra, who nodded at Ven. The trio then walked outside to an open field where there was no trees, and then pounded on the buttons of their shoulder armor.

After the light died down, Twilight Sparkle reopened her eyes to see that her three human friends were now covered in Armor. Simultaneously, they summoned their Keyblades, and then opened a portal wide enough for all three of them. Hurling their Keyblades like boomerangs, the trio leaped into the air as the ponies (And Spike) watched in awe as their Keyblades turned into their respective Keyblade Gliders; Ven's hoverboard, Terra's motorbike, and Aqua's segway.

Giving off a final salute, Ven, Aqua, and Terra all yelled, "WE PROMISE WE'LL COME BACK TO VISIT!!!" Right before they disappeared through the portal.

Twilight Sparkle and the ponies gaped in disbelief, blinking a few times. But after recovering, Twilight turned to the two princesses.

"Um... Didn't you say that you were going to explain their story?" She asked them.

Princess Celestia smiled. "You should probably sit down, it is a long story..."

"Yay, storytime!" Pinkie Pie cheered, pulling a pillow and Teddy Bear out of nowhere.

While Princess Celestia and Luna were explaining their tale to the ponies (And Spike), Ven was looking back at Equestria one last time, thinking about the good times he had on this world. Terra and Aqua both seemed to have sensed that.

"Miss them already?" Terra asked.

"Yeah, especially Rainbow Dash." Ven replied. "She was the one who taught me how to fly when I first arrived."

"Well, I'm sure that we'll make it out of this battle alive." Aqua reassured him. "Then you can go back to see her again.... Though are you sure it's not Fluttershy that you'll miss the most?"

Ven blushed under his armor. "Hey!"

Terra and Aqua laughed as Ven denied his slight crush on Fluttershy.

But as they rode on, they knew that while they had a big battle ahead of them, they realized that they had something worth fighting for; their friends from other worlds.

In their minds, they all looked back at the various friends from other worlds;

Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Cinderella, her fairy godmother and Jaq, Princess Aurora, Prince Philip and the three good fairies, Mickey Mouse, Queen Minnie and her loyal subjects, Phil, Zack and Hercules, Experiment 626, Peter Pan and the lost boys, Sora, Riku, and Kairi...

And finally, the six little ponies of Equestria; Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy, as well as Spike, and the two princesses Celestia and Luna.

Simultaneously, they smiled, knowing it was good to have so many friends.
