Personality: Nancy is very OCD about her work and making things perfect for her mistress, right down to that itty bitty extra grain of salt on her eggs. She's very overprotective, she'll pretty much follow those she cares about very closely, and will freak out if they're in any ounce of danger, no matter how old they get. She can occasionally get pretty bloody scary if you intend to hurt those she cares for. Being half demon does not mean she feels no emotion, if anything it makes her impulses harder to control.

Story of Nancy Jenson:

Nearly 89 years before the events of Black Butler season one, a very powerful demoness with the most lovely purple eyes made a contract with a human she does not care to remember. The deal was that she protect his life until his legacy can continue in any way possible. The contract was sealed and the man somehow fell in love with his protector. The creation of halflings is a lot more complicated than it was thousands of years ago at the time of Cain, a demoness can bare the child of a human, but a human woman has a much harder time carrying a demon's child and can very well die from it. Nevertheless, the demoness got pregnant with her master's child. On a warm spring evening, the demoness gave birth to a half demon girl, and thus created a legacy for that man, and the contract was sealed. The demoness ate her meal and went back to hell with her spawn. The halfling was raised to be a killing machine that does not require souls but can eat them if desired. This child grew up to be ruthless, but then came along the time when she wanted to taste a soul, she went after a very corrupt man who gave up a life of crime for love, Richard Musilla. She thought she had snuck onto the manor only to awkwardly meet his pregnant wife. Rather than freaking out, the soon-to-be mother by the name of Lorain Musilla sat the half demon down for a chat. Lorain was very understanding and kind, eventually, the halfling and human became friends. The impossible happened, a half demon fell in love, not just with Lorain, but with the human world. So the halfling decided to give herself a human name, Nancy Jenson, and serve the Musilla family for as long as it stands. Soon after, Rayne Musilla was born, and she had a bond with both her mother and Nancy. However, all good things must end. Though she kept it to herself, Lorain suffered of mental illness for almost her whole life. Her husband Richard and Nancy devastated when Lorain "fell" to her death. Nancy had shown up a mere two seconds too late to save her friend, though she was still alive on impact, she was going to die. So Nancy laid a gentle kiss on Lorain's lips before devouring her soul. It was the only soul she felt she needed...
But Rayne was still alive, she witnessed her mother's fall but not the devouring of her soul. It crushed her.
She grew up.
And Nancy stayed by her side.
Lorain was gone.
But Nancy was still there...
Until the end of the Musilla line, Nancy would be there, and no soul was required.
