From "Fire Emblem ~Akatsuki no Megami" (same Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn)I like Eddie(Edward). Therefore I strongly bring him up every time so as to be able to defeat Ike.

Daw, you drew Eddie. :3 (I can't get used to calling Eddie Edward...Edward just doesn't suit him well enough! ) Oh, and Volug and Leonardo, too. 
I'm on my second playthrough, I wasn't able to raise Edward enough to go against Ike (he was too slow, for some reason). Instead, it seemed it was Nolan who could match up with Ike. Now that was weird. O_o;
But, awesome, nice seeing Edward fanart around here.

Same here! But, I'm used to them now, except Eddie's. Eddie just really suit better than Edward because Eddie sounds cuter while Edward sounds more mature (which Eddie isn't very much of that.)
Me, too! TwT I wanted to see more funny interactions between Edward, Leonardo and Nolan (and, heck, the rest of them. Micaiah and Sothe are boring to watch, though. :\)

"Edward" is heard more elegantly than "Eddie". I don't think that it is suited him,too. Because he is an orphan. And , of course, "Eddie" is more cutely.

On a note to your game ref. Edward can't make the slightest dent in Ike's defenses if Ike's maxed. (Well, he can if Ed is well-trained too, but that doesn't happen too often). I vote on some Volug fanart.

Yes, it is not simple. It is said that it is indispensable that Edward becomes Trueblade ahead of 3-13 to defeat Ike. And, he is strengthened with Skills. (Though it is not specifiable because I don't know an English version of each Skills name)
But, The Greil Mercenaries has a hard time in the next 3-14 when the Dawn Brigade is too strong.

Yep... for me, the Dawn Brigade usually has a hard time... (NO ONE can put a dent in Ike except for the mages because of his maxed stats).

The victory condition of Part3Chapter13 is "Protect defence line for 12 turns" or "Defeat boss (Ike) ". If the Dawn Brigade is made strong, Ike and the Greil Mercenaries can be defeated.
Or, is the victory condition different in the English version?
