Description
First off...no, this isn't stolen. It's the original one-layer version of the complete drawing, which I posted onto my other active account ~daisukirai . This is my sketch account anyways, for stuff that I just want to post for the heck of it. And so I thought I'd post the one-layer drawing I finished yesterday.
The difference between this one and the complete version is not just the color, but the sharpened effect and faint gradient overlay. This is all drawn on a single layer. Normally I use craploads of layers to separate each spot, but not in this case. Everything was drawn in one layer, only three tools (brush, water, eraser) and for this part only...maybe just a couple of hours. The coloring took me a few more hours because I couldn't decide what colors I really wanted for her hair and eyes....originally I wanted red, but I always draw red for eyes and I want to save it for some of my actually developed characters. I would've had it match the dark brown I colored for her hair but then again it'd look like I'm drawing myself...with longer hair and actually looking pretty for once.
