When father frost had done his rounds and his long pelt had swept away most of the snow, that's when cupid came and hooked his arrows. Spring Time was just around the corner and it was at that time when 2 lovebirds finally met each other at the end of cupids arrows once more. The winter had brought nothing but sorrow upon the Heibelle family. Hunters injuring their cubs and whisking away one of their beloved daughters. A bear taking the life of their son Jotunn and getting dangerously close to taking Heitiare's life as well. But time also healed and even if their sons death still lingered in their minds and hearts they knew that their golden boy was still around in spirit. Ariel had returned to the Empire as well, making the family whole again.

With the snow melting, the cold breeze gone and his recovery having gone well enough, Heitiare had been released from nest rest and was free to resume his duties as an Elite Guard. Belle had also gone back to her duties even before Heitiare, helping Ice recover from the winters tidings. Even if both of the were now gladiators, a healthy sparring session was always in need. It seemed less than a spar and more of a little game of play. Snow tossed up and grass flattening under the weight of the two large cats as their rolled around like little cubs.

As always Hei Hei was the winner in this. Belle laughed as it reminded her from way back when they met as cubs. Heitiare had also pinned her down, originally thinking she was an intruder. They had been inseparable after that. Heitiare remembered when they were captured together, spending time in that cell, they had nobody but themselves and that strengthened their bond even more. Even when Hei Hei left for a short time to explore the lands outside the Empires reach, they longed for each other. Training together, starting a family together. As if attached by their fur their jumped hurdle after hurdle. To both of them it felt the right time to make this a permanent thing.
