Fractals are mathematically generated patterns ... I use Fractal Explorer ... a free to use fractal generator you can download from here [link] ... the skill is in finding the patterns you like and colouring them ... have a play ... I can answer any questions you might have ... and don't worry ... you don't need to be a maths expert to make fantastic designs!
