Dustin a young Parasaurolophus who used to live with his mother in the herd. He has a father who is the leader of the herd, but he was too busy hitting on females when he tries to interact with him. Dustin’s mother is aware that his father can be neglectful, but she tells him that she’ll always be with him no matter the cost. Suddenly, a pack of Albertosaurus were terrorizing the herd causing a stampede, and Dustin is separated from his mother. He didn’t know that his mother was alive or not. He can’t travel alone in the woods unprotected because he knows that any predators will get him. Dustin gets agitated and depressed thinking that he’s not going to make it in one day. Surprisingly, he encountered Hawthorne and Paolo walking past him. Dustin asked Hawthorne for his protection, but he said no. Paolo was being sympathetic towards Dustin an encourage Hawthorne let him join. Hawthorne rolled his eyes with a annoyed sigh and changed his mind.

Personality
Dustin is a bright and optimistic kid with a lot of imagination of telling unrealistic stories to Hawthorne and Paolo. Paolo enjoyed some of his stories while Hawthorne being was annoyed and wanted Dustin to shut up. Dustin has a habit of talking too much which annoys both Hawthorne and Paolo, and Hawthorne encourages Dustin to play the quiet game with Dustin approves.
