Well, military service in Israel is mandatory. I was unable to find a way to avoid it :/
Plus, was afraid of the possible economic repercussions of not serving in the military (many jobs here require that you serve in the military...).
I first served in the anti-air forces and later was sent to 3 and a bit months of combat medic training and came back to serve in the same AA battery for the rest of the service, the last 4 months I spent in a different AA battery.
I have no idea how many people quit the army due to psychological made up problems.
Yes, I think I would have liked Germany more. Hard to tell, but starting your life at 18 is better than postponing it to 21 because of the military service.

I didn't know just how tied everything was to having being in the military there, interesting. O.o
How do anti-air forces work? What do you do?
Do you think they let them quit easily because of made up problems?
I guess so, it's not nice to have to postpone it, that's for sure u.u

They used to air The Brave little Toaster every Saturday on the kid's channel over here when I was still in elementary school. Always hoped for something else but then the channel repeating the show made me do other stuff so I'm grateful

I guess that when it gets down to the wire, because of how large the scope was with cartoons in the 80's and 90's, one could be reminded of them so easily today.

Not sure what's on cartoon channels anymore today, I did watch a bit of Adventure Time but I'm not mesmerized by it as much as I would've been if I were a kid again.Β

Why am I thinking of that Nostalgia Critic review where his partner gets turned into a pencil sharpener...

Yeah... kinda like that, except that it was Nostalgia Critic and Phelous instead of those other two. And it was from the first Child's PlayΒ review, not the second one.
